Why Computer Is MasculineπŸ˜πŸ˜„

😎A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

"House" for instance, is feminine: "la casa."

"Pencil," however, is masculine: "el lapiz."

A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?"

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether "computer" should be a masculine or a feminine noun.

Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that "computer" should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computadora"), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;😜😜

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval;
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
 and

 4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your pay check on accessories for it.
😜😜😜
(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ("le computador"), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on😝

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;πŸ˜„

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE  the problem;😜

and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.
πŸ˜œπŸ˜œπŸ˜œπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The women won😜

Send this to all the smart women and men that have a good sense of humour!

Adeyinka Grandson Plots Return Of Lagos Lands to Yorubas

Language is a form of colonialism.
The Igbo called Lagos "a no man's land."
We did not kill them like the Hausa/Fulani. We simply formulated a policy for them to speak and write in Yoruba language before they can live, work or get an education in Yorubaland.
They claimed to have purchased all the land in Yorubaland. We are going on another policy initiative that will make all Igbo living in Yorubaland to be leaseholders and not land owners.
All the properties held by the Igbo and non-Yoruba in Yorubaland will be by lease for 25 years only. Later on and after the 25 year period has expired, they shall pay land rental to the original owner of the land, yearly if they wish to keep their properties.
The Igbo has continued to operate with the Hausa/Fulani since 1959 to subjugate the Yoruba nation and her people.
They forged a coalition government with the Hausa/Fulani in 1959 and by 1963 they jailed Awolowo for 10 years and divided Western Region into two. They then operated with the Hausa/Fulani in 1993 to annul the June 12 presidential election won by MKO Abiola. And again in alliance with the Hausa/Fulani in 1999 to rigged out Falae for Obasanjo.
Today, their children will learn to write and speak Yoruba or crawl back to Igboland.
In the months to come, all non-Yoruba in Yorubaland will become leaseholders and not land owners.
The generation before us did not revenge over the murder of Akintola by the Igbo in January 1966; the killing of Fajuyi in July 1966 by the Hausa/Fulani and the murder of Abiola in 1998 by the Hausa/Fulani. My generation will revenge for every Yoruba killed or murdered by the Igbo and the Hausa/Fulani.
We warn, before we harm.
The Igbo must support the political aspirations of the Yoruba to control its ports, waterways and all the taxes generated in Yorubaland, otherwise they shall be treated in the like manner the white in America in 1942 treated the Japanese living in America.

The Economics of Terror War In Borno State........ by Oasis

THE ECONOMICS OF BOKO HARAM

recently had a phone conversation with a friend in Maiduguri. I was curious to know what has become of Maiduguri since I left the city for good.
My friend was ecstatic,

”Emeka you wouldn’t recognize Maiduguri again, there are now plenty of luxury spots and structures springing up everywhere"

Stunned, I wondered how a war torn state would be witnessing such turn around growth . The war has now become an economic growth pillar- the insurgency has galvanized the growth of the Borno state economy.

NGO’S from all over the world have converged on the state ,unleashing billions into the state economy. Civil servants now abandon their jobs to take up one job or the other with the NGO’S. A contract staff with any of the NGO’S is being paid 50-70k monthly, while a full staff with no managerial role takes home between 150k-200k.

Those with managerial role take from 350k and above monthly. It depends on the NGO, though.
The insurgency has created more jobs in the North East than the government can ever think of creating. Nobody in the North East wants the war to end. It’s raining money in their cities, the value of their properties is astronomically rising. Purchasing power is increasing and investment rapidly pouring in. Business is good. They pray silently for the insurgency to never end.

When the federal government introduced a new dimension to the war economy by paying ransom to Boko Haram, another lucrative sector opened up. It became another avenue for the government, negotiators and Boko Haram to make fast money. Another sector that will not end soon. There’s money for everyone.

The other day, it was some University of Maiduguri staff. Today it is innocent girls at Dapchi. It is just business. Plain business. The Dapchi kidnap shows that the government isn’t ready to end the insurgency.

For the kidnap to still occur with all the money claimed to have been spent in the North East on security shows the government is unserious and grossly incompetent in this regard.

Always Question The Status quo

An  army  barrack had  four  soldiers guarding  a  concrete  slab  in front  of  the barracks  at  all times.

Different commanders came and went but  the tradition remained; the soldiers changed shifts guarding the slab.

After 80 years, a new commander was assigned to the barracks. One of the things he did was to ask why things were done the way they were.

When he asked why soldiers were guarding  the  slab, he  was  told,  We've always done it this  way. It's our tradition. Our former commanders instructed us to do that.

The  commander was bent on finding out the reason for this practice. He went to the  Archives to look for answers and came across  a document that had the explanation.

The document was very old.  It had instructions  written by one of the retired commanders who had even passed away.

The new commander learnt that over 80 years ago, the barracks wanted to build a platform  where events could be performed. When the  concrete slab was laid, wild animals walked  over it at night before the slab could dry.

The soldiers would fix it the next morning but  when evening came the same thing would happen. So the commander ordered that four soldiers should guard the concrete slab for  three weeks to allow it to dry.

The following week the commander was transferred to handle another assignment elsewhere, and a new commander was brought  in.

The new commander found the routine and continued to enforce it without asking any question.

And since then, every other commander that came did the same.

Thus, eighty years later; soldiers continued  guarding the concrete slab. An assignment that  was ordinarily designed to last just three  weeks. . . 80yrs  of ignorance with  hard  labour  has passed.

Are  you  carrying on obsolete beliefs, attitudes traditions/culture that  were relevant to certain  people or a certain time?

What is your opinion about yourself, people of a  different  race, politics, certain business opportunities, new products etc ?

You might just be guarding a concrete slab!

Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible (Ignorance can make you work hard without progress).

The Rich Invest What The Poor Saved

_A bank is a broker between the poor and the rich. The only place where the two meet is in a bank. The poor brings the money, through saving, and the rich takes it, through borrowing. Poor persons save the money because they have more money than their thinking capacity. So they keep the money in the bank so they can go and think what to do with the money they saved._

*On the other side, the rich people come to pick that money, through borrowing, because they have more ideas than the money they have. On a practical side, please show me one billionaire who got rich through saving and I will show you a million Nigerians who have money saved in the banks and are still renting the houses that the Millionaires and billionaires built through the poor people's savings which the rich borrowed from a bank.*

```This one πŸ‘†got me thinking.```
Respect The Youths Around You
I remember when gaining admission into the University was still a problem. I had a friend  that was lucky to gain admission before me. Whenever I went to visit her, her mother will tell me she is not at home.
My friend started giving me attitude. She stopped coming to my house. I asked her what the problem was, she opened up and told me her mother had Warned her to stop associating with me because I might not be happy she gained admission, while I was still at home.
Ah I cried Sha.
Honestly I was pained.
Fast forward 5 years later, I have gained admission, and even graduated, my friend was still in the University. It was a 5 Years course but she changed department  and ended up spending 6 Years.
Her mother saw me in the neighborhood shortly after graduation and asked if I was on holiday. Holiday ke? Ma  I have graduated. You can imagine the look on her face. Epic. Lol
I graduated with 2nd class upper,a year later she graduated with 3rd class
Some of us are guilty of this.
*When we have a house filled with kids.... Our loyal friend struggling to have kids becomes an enemy. We push them away
*Once we get married... Our loyal single friend becomes an enemy.. We push them away
*Once we get a job... Our loyal jobless friend becomes an enemy.... We push them away.
*Once we get to the top... Our loyal friends at the bottom becomes an enemy.... We push away.
*When we are happily married... Our loyal friend that is unfortunately a widow or divorcee becomes an enemy.... We push them away
*When we have food and water... Our loyal friend struggling to survive becomes an enemy... We push them away.
*Nobody is your enemy, you are only being an enemy to them..
We quickly forget... Life is not static. It moves and changes as we experience along..
.
When you condemn a situation along with the person in the situation. You are only gambling.
At the end, the winner is always the person you condemned, the person you least expected.
This is food for thought. Have a great week.... as you ponder on this..
Why Junaid Mohammad Is Not Happy With Buhari
"Now, among the people in the cabal, but very powerful and not known is someone called Tunde, originally called Sabiu Yusuf. He is the son of Mamman Daura’s immediate younger sister. He is, today, P.A to the President, even though he has never worked for one day in his life. But a P.A job is normally the work of a full-blown director or a permanent secretary. "
“Mamman Daura’s daughter, who is married to one of the Dantatas, is the S.A to the CBN governor. Then Buhari’s sister’s son is also an S.A to Kachikwu, the junior minister of petroleum resources. The chief personal security officer to the president, DCP Abdulkarim Dauda is Mamman Daura’s younger brother. The chief security officer (CSO) Col Bashir Abubakar is also married into the family. The State chief of protocol, Lawal Kazaure, who has not reached the rank of an ambassador, is also married to Mamman Daura’s eldest daughter." Junaid
