Grimly Verdict on Buhari By Economist Magazine
The Unprecedented Level of Patience Shown to Buhari---the ECONOMIST
Nigerians have never shown such level of patience and tolerance towards any of their past leaders for his record and strange policies as that shown to their current leader, Muhammadu Buhari – a former military dictator now self-confessed democrat who said he came to fight corruption.
Buhari, 75, is being plagued with failures across every single sector in the economy, the like as has never been seen before. Less than a year into office, the economy plummeted into recession, an economy which had till then grown at an average rate of 7% in previous years (2011-2014). The nation’s currency lost 70% of its value, unemployment rose from 6.5 to 26%, commodity prices tripled across many quarters and the state-regulated premium motor spirit prices were hiked by 67% without practically anybody batting an eye.
There have been stern opposition to his policies however and to his very personality as well, notably in the South East and South- South regions in the country as they are called, where he both received less than 5% of the votes cast at the last Presidential election and where he has always been sternly unpopular for his history of bigotry against the people, perceived incompetence and dictatorial tendencies. But in many other regions across the country the people have rather resolved to suffer patiently, drawing up excuses for him at will, blaming everyone including his hundreds of political appointees, anything and anybody but never the man himself.
Buhari’s party, the APC, promised Nigerians unprecedented swiping changes in government and the eviction of all corrupt individuals.
One possible explanation for this could be his party’s hope narrative in the 2015 General election where citizens were promised an unprecedented crackdown on corruption and the abolition of all government waste by a man whose financial worth they declared to have been less than N30million ($150,000 then), a historical low for a former top official in the country and most especially a former leader.
In a country plagued by acute corruption problems and with the unremitted crude oil revenue scandal of 2014 still fresh in the people’s minds, many were eager for an abrupt change, the like as never been seen before. He was seen an army general, already experienced in government, with a great strength of will, tough to take on the nation’s cabal of hardened criminals. He promised to appoint only technocrats to head the country’s departments and to see out the lingering Boko Haram insurgency from the warfront. For a nation lacking basic amenities such as power supply in spite of its huge energy resources and with the lingering insurgency crises, the choice seemed easy to many- the general with integrity was the man for the country.
Talk was cheap then but now reality has taken its course. His earliest opponents pointed out to his track record and not to his speech, noting that the last time Nigeria fell into dismal failure, currency woes and commodity shortages was when he had seized power as a military general in 1983 and stating that the facts of that record contradicted the poems of his image brokers.
Many however just wanted “change” as it was then called and so voted the General and sat to wait for the sung promises. But from the onset of his government, the course was as his critics had predefined: Incompetency, bigotry and dictatorial tendencies plaguing the country.
He ignored the newly born genocide in the middle belt of the country perpetuated by the Fulani herdsmen of his kindred against the Christian communities in Benue, Plateau and later on Kaduna. He breached the Central Bank’s 2007 Act of Independence, telling it to suspend forex disbursements to steel importers and other manufacturing sectors in a bid to defend the Naira, a disastrous action which kick-started a spiral of recession.
He took 3 months to appoint his Chief of Staff, 6 months to appoint a cabinet and now 23 months and yet counting to appoint heads of agencies and board members he was so eager to fire upon his assumption into office and rose import duties on the most basic of commodities in a bid to raise government revenue.
And as for the corruption fight, the facts on ground do not show any one at all. Apart from a few officials harassed or imprisoned without court order, the country is yet to witness the first victim of the said campaign at the court stands.
Government waste is on the rise, officials publicly caught in graft acts were swiftly excused, the 2016 Budget year passed without implementation and most worrisome, the Central Bank’s foreign reserves were being shared among unknown Bureau De Change operators at variable rates at the detriment of critical manufacturing, business and banking sectors.
The government continues to praise itself but the people seem to be increasingly tired of the paraded self-righteousness. The President’s recent illness was greeted with cheers by many. Many are just tired of the government. But the remarkable level of patience shown so far has been unprecedented and many a times the general reactions towards acts of constitutional violations was one of calmness or insensitivity.
If the Change narrative of the 2015 election and the songs of man of integrity are to account for this, then Nigerians may have just certified themselves on the world map as a nation easy to fool with propaganda. An adult should be judged on his track record not on his tongue.

Common Regrets At The Age Of 50
*THINGS YOU WILL REGRET WHEN YOU'RE 50 YEARS OLD:*
When younger we make various choices without the future in mind. Sometimes those choices bite us in our mid-life. These are some of the things one might regret when they're 50 years:-
1. *Marrying the wrong person*
When you're young, check your motives for marrying. Don't marry to copy your peers, or for social standing or out of pressure. Marry for love and companionship, marry the right person, marry your best friend. For if you marry the wrong person or for the wrong reasons, you will have to put up with that person the rest of your life. Things might get worse between you two; then depression, physical abuse, affairs, pain, shame, court cases, bitterness will define your mid-life years all because you chose the wrong one. Things will get worse when children are involved. Make the right choice of a spouse when you are young.
2. *The opportunities you did not seize*
When you are younger many doors will open, you will get many chances. Many young people let these opportunities go because of fear, laziness, or pride; yet well younger and with more energy is the best time to start a venture and a name for yourself. Some think the opportunities are too big for them. Take advantage of them or one day when you're older you will want to go back and grab those missed chances.
3. *The bridges you burned*
When we are younger, we care little for relationships, what most think about is getting money and moving up the ladder of success at all cost. Many use and trample on people to progress, they take relationships for granted, messing up bonds, sleeping with people for personal gain. But these bad actions will catch up with you ahead. When you will realize how empty life is without love and friends. When you will have success but no one around you or no one to trust you.
4. *The child you aborted*
You are a young lady, you get pregnant and you are scared. You take the aborting option quickly thinking of that moment then. But when you are much older, you will look back and wish you kept that baby. When you will be rich and successful you will wish that child you gave up on would be around to enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Being a single mother doesn't mean you can't make it in life or you can't find a man in future.
5. *The child you rejected*
Young man, you impregnated a woman, she told you she's pregnant with your child. You rejected her and the baby and ran. But years later when you're 50 something, you will wish you were responsible, you will wish you manned up and became a father to that child. You will see that child excel and become an adult but will have no claim to that grown child who you rejected from the beginning. You will regret being a Dead Beat Dad by choice
6. *The marriage you destroyed*
So you get married to your good fiance; the first months in marriage were good but shortly after, with your money and charm, you started having affairs. You became unfaithful. Your spouse begged you to stop, your children started hurting, your marriage was collapsing. One day when you are older, it will hit you how foolish you were to destroy the good marriage you had began to build for mere temporary thrills in affairs that did you no good. You will realize the damage you caused to your children and spouse.
7. *The God you disowned*
When you are much older you become wiser, God becomes more real as you see life in a more meaningful way. But don't wait to get older to start enjoying a relationship with God. Know God when you are young, build your future with God. Don't be a young rebel who runs back to God when age catches up.
8. *The body you messed*
You have only one body to live with all your life. The cigarettes, the alcohol you are abusing, the drugs you are taking, the unhealthy food you're consuming; all that will destroy you slowly. When you are 50 and lifestyle diseases catch up with you, you will wish you took care of your body when younger, that you exercised more; but now the damage is done.
9. *The time you wasted*
The time you are wasting when younger in worry, wrong relationships, laziness, being a couch potato, giving excuses and pursuing meaningless things; you will never get it back.
10. *The dreams and talents you shelved*
Are you talented when young; are there things you love to do and you are good at them? Nurture those talents, exploit them, don't give up even if you encounter set backs, don't give up on your dreams. If you give up, when you're older you will look at your peers who stuck to what they love and made it and think to self, "That could have been me". Pursue a career, study a course you love. Don't waste years of your life in a field that doesn't fulfill you.
11. *The name you defamed*
When you are older, a legacy is very important, the value of your name is crucial. You will ask yourself what is your reputation, what are you leaving behind? Your legacy is a sum total of your actions since youthful days. We write our biography by how we live life everyday. When you look back your path and you see the mud you threw at your own name, the shame you attracted and the little value you have added to the world; you will regret.
12. *The wealth you threw away*
Are you riding on good money during your productive years? Earning good money? Don't throw away that money in clubs, reckless living and wasteful shopping. Invest with that money, widen your revenue stream, make that money work for you and keep it safe to take care of you in your older years. Leave an inheritance for your loved ones so that you will never say "I wish I knew better"
13. *The good love that got away*
Is there that great person in your life loving you good? Don't push that person away, or else that person will walk out your life and you will never ever find someone that incredible and who connects with you all your life. It will torment you to grow older with thoughts of "What if I was still with that person?"
14. *The parents you despised*"
When younger, it is easy to show contempt to your parents; what do your parent's know? They are old-fashioned, shady and small -minded. But your parents are still your parents whether you agree with them or not, whatever their style. Don't let your parent die or age separated from you, reconcile and make up. When you get older, you will realize why your parents wanted to be close to you. The older you get, the more you see the value

How She Made A Man Pay For Crash Repairs
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A woman and a man were involved in car accident.
It was a bad one, caused by the woman's reckless driving.
Both of their cars were badly damaged but amazingly neither of them was hurt.
After they crawled out of ... cars, the woman says;
“So, you're a man. That's interesting. I'm a woman.
Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt.
This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days."
The man replied," I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God!
The woman continued, "And look at this, here's another miracle.
My car is completely damaged, but this bottle of wine didn't break.
Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune."
Then she handed the bottle over to the man.
The man nodded his head in agreement, opens it, drinks half the bottle and then handed it back to the woman.
The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and handed it back to the man.
The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"
She replies, "Nah. I think I'll just wait for the police to come and collect their evidence."
(drunk driver's offence)
Adam ate the apple again !

Arewa Youths Mobilize To Outs Buhari in 2019
The President of the AYCF, Yerima Shettima, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to abandon his right to contest the 2019 presidential election.
According to him, "the truth is that our expectations of this government have not been met. Everything they promised during the campaign and in their manifesto.
He said Buhari shouldn't seek re-election in 2019 because:
1. His anti-corruption war is selective.
"The reason why everybody sought for change was that we thought this government will fight corruption tooth and nail without considering whosoever is involved.
2. He hasn't been able to defeat Boko Haram.
“We cannot or the government cannot justify the fact that we told Nigerians that the fight against insurgency is over. Almost every day we have had casualties.
3. Poor power supply
"The third one on the campaign was the issue of power. This is nothing to write home about even though the Minister of Power told us that a responsible government should be able to fix power within six months.

A Killer Policeman Re instated , Paid Areas
By Charles Ogbu.
DCP Danjuma Ibrahim is the Deputy commissioner of police who initiated, supervised and actively participated in the killing of 6 auto-spare parts dealers in APO, a satellite town in Abuja, in 2005.
The murdered 5 young men and a lady were all Igbos doing business in APO auto-spare parts market.
They were killed because DCP Danjuma made romantic advances to the only lady among them, Augustina Arebu, at a night club, which she turned down. A minor disagreement ensued between the guys and the officer who stormed out of the night club to the nearby police checkpoint where he told the police men on duty that there were armed robbers in the area. When the APO6 drove to the checkpoint, officer Danjuma reportedly blocked them with his vehicle and ordered the junior police men on duty to open fire on them.
The police men obeyed.
4 of the APO6 were killed on the spot. The remaining two, the lady and one of the 5 guys, were killed the following day.
The lady, Augustina Arebu, whose rejection of Danjuma's sexual invite caused the whole thing, was personally strangled to death by DCP Danjuma. The same Danjuma whose recall letter you are looking at here.
Afterwards, the Nigerian police left no stone unturned in a desperate bid to cover up this despicable crime.
First, they planted weapons in the car of the APO6 and brought a photographer to take the picture which they distributed to newsmen tagging the innocent traders "armed robbers".
But testifying before a panel of inquiry set up by the then president Olusegun Obasanjo, the police men who took part in the killing all confessed their role and categorically told the panel that it was DCP Danjuma who ordered them to shoot.
The govt panel recommended that 5 officers including DCP Danjuma and the DPO of APO police station who supplied the weapon planted in the car of the traders, Othman Abdulsalami, were all guilty of murder and should be charged to court. President Obasanjo tendered apology to the families of the victims and even paid compensation.
But during the panel hearing, something shockingly strange happened.
A police man, Anthony Edem, who had earlier testified against the police and was scheduled to testify again on Monday died on a Sunday night after going out to drink with some of his fellow policemen. An autopsy report from Abuja national hospital found out he was poisoned.
In a nutshell, the Nigerian police killed one of its own just to cover up her crime!
In a cell inside the police headquarters (Edet House) where the APO DPO, Othman, was kept pending his day in court, he left his cell one morning purportedly to go pray and simply 'disappeared'.
I mean, a suspect in a high profile murder case was allowed to go pray all by himself right there from his cell at the police headquarters!
Till today, that killer officer was never brought to trial.
Few months ago, a court sentenced two junior police men to death for the APO 6 killing after they confessed to killing the APO6 ON THE ORDERS OF DCP DANJUMA but the same Judge said there was not enough evidence to convict the senior officer Danjuma.
Today, DCP Danjuma has been officially re-instated into the police force via a Police Wireless Message intercepted by Sahara-Reporters. This killer officer will be paid all arrears of salaries and other entitlements dating back to 2005.
It is possible to save a country from criminals and murderers but when those who are supposed to save the country from these criminals and murderers become the criminals and murderers themselves, what hope is there for such a country????
It is becoming increasingly insane to retain any hope that this country is not beyond salvation.

Jim Ovia vs Shina Peters,; Asset vs. Liability
*SHINA PETERS VS JIM OVIA*
In 1990, Shina Peters built a house with N20 million naira; the same year Jim Ovia started Zenith Bank with the same amount.
Today, you and I don't have a room in Shina's house but I have an account in Jim's bank and probably you do too.
Shina's house was built in Iju Lagos and remains there till date.
Jim's bank started in a corner and now has over 500 branches in Nigeria, and many international branches.
Millions upon millions transact business in Jim's bank daily.
Shina's house is becoming dilapidated...in 2015, he SPENT more money to renovate the house and bought a Nissan Pathfinder with N10 million...additional liability, while in the same 2015, Jim's bank MADE a profit of N105.7 billion.
Zenith bank employs hundreds of thousands, and feeds their families.
This is the difference between Assets and Liability. If you buy a car for N20 million today, in 20 years time, you will be ashamed to drive it. On the other hand, if you invest that same amount in a lucrative business or in an asset, It may be worth billions in 20 years. ( Jim Ovia is now worth $980 million dollars, with the official dollar rate of N320, that means he is worth N313 BILLION NAIRA because of an investment of N20 million).
Spend the little money you have today wisely. Some people driving expensive cars today, are not aware that they are driving their future and the future of their children. Some people carrying iphone7 today, may not be aware that they are carrying their future.
When you are young, don't spend money. Invest it.
Every penny in your hand is like a seed, you can decide to eat it, or sow it. When you sow it, it will bear much more seeds later in future.
If this post make sense to you, please encourage someone else by sending to them.
Let's be wise.

How Gani Fawehinmi Survived A Killer Govt.
"Prof. Jubril Aminu was once the VC of University of Maiduguri. During his tenure, there was an Aluta struggle and some students were rusticated. Four of the rusticated students came to Gani Fawehinmi to challenge the action.
He fought the case to the Supreme Court and won.
The students went back to complete their studies. Later, Gani was arrested over his anti-SAP conference and was flown to Maiduguri, then driven to Gashua. At the Lagos airport, not knowing where he was being taken to by the security men, Gani played a fast one - he told his captors that he wanted to use the toilet.
He got inside the toilet and quickly scribbled on a toilet paper - "To whoever uses this toilet, this is Gani Fawehinmi. I am being flown to an unknown destination by security men. When they got to Maiduguri, they had a brief stop over at the SSS office, where a lady officer offered Gani a cup of coffee.
Gani was hooked on coffee like drug. But this time, the will power of Gani came on. He told the lady officer -"so you people have got information that l can't do without coffee. You think you can poison me? From, today, I stop taking coffee ". That was how he ended his addiction to coffee.
He was later moved to Gashua prison, in a most decrepit cell where he collapsed after some substances were sprayed in the cell.
He was rushed to the University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital. When he regained consciousness, he found a doctor examining him and he protested, asking the doctor not to touch him.
The doctor, not wanting the security men guarding him to hear, he whispered to Gani's ear - "Chief, you are in safe hands. Can't you recognise me? I am....., one of the medical students rusticated whom you fought for our reinstatement. I am now a doctor. So, relax. You are in safe hands".
And that was how Gani's life was saved - reaping from the good deeds he did earlier, which he had forgotten"

Please, let the world know". He placed it in a conspicuous place, flushed the toilet as if he just used it and came out.

Tracing The Location of a Lost Or Missing Phone
HOW TO TRACE A MISSING OR STOLEN PHONE
If you lose your mobile phone, you can trace it without going to the police.
Most of us always fear that our phones may be stolen at any time.
Each phone carries a unique
IMEI no. i.e. International Mobile Equipment Identity No which can be used to track it anywhere in the world.
This is how it works:
1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.
2. Your mobile phone shows a unique 15 digit.
3. Note down this number at a secure place except in your mobile phone itself as this is the number which will help trace your phone in case of theft.
4. Once stolen, just E-mail this 15 digit IMEI No. to cop@vsnl.net with details as stated below:
Your name:____________________
Address:______________________
Phone model:_________________
Make:_________________________
Last used No.:_________________
E-mail for communication:_____
Missed date:___________________
IMEI No :_______________________
5.Your Mobile will be traced within next 24 hours via a complex system of GPRS and internet, You will find where your hand set is being operated and the new user's No. will be sent to your email.
6. After this, you can inform the Police with the details you now have.

The Two things That will Matter in The End
You should read this Message from Bishop Dag Heward-Mills
The Titanic was presumed to be the largest, safest and strongest luxury ship in the world before it embarked on its disastrous maiden voyage in April 1912.
All kinds of people were welcomed on the ship for its first voyage.
The rich, the famous, the elite, women, children, families and staff of the ship were all happy to be on board.
It was billed to be the ship that could not sink, but it did sink on its first journey from Southampton to New York.
This was one of the greatest tragedies of all time.
After the ship sank, two lists were presented at the offices of The White Star Company (the company which built the Titanic).
The list was simple.
It had only two sections: ‘LOST’ and ‘SAVED’.
People came to read these lists to find out if their loved ones had survived. Interestingly, before the journey so many things were important.
Whether they worked on the ship or were on vacation?
Whether they were rich or poor.
Whether they were millionaires or peasants. Whether they were stockbrokers or not. Whether they were in first class or economy class.
Whether they were men or women.
Whether they had a lot of luggage or not.
But after the sinking of the Titanic none of these things mattered anymore. Only one thing mattered-
whether they were saved or lost.
Dear friend that is how Eternity will be.
A time will come when none of the things we have on this earth will matter.
A time will come when it will not matter whether you are a man or a woman!
A time will come when it will not matter whether you are rich or poor!
What will matter is whether you are ‘LOST’ or ‘SAVED’ on the day you die and meet your creator!

Mugabe Writes An Emotional Exit Letter
You Will Appreciate Me More When I Am Gone
My fellow Zimbabweans, I am writing this letter and hope that all of you will read it and share it.
My days on this earth are numbered, But I know that once I am gone, You and your children will never forget about me.
I want you to understand that the reason I have stayed long in power, 36 years on, Is because I want to empower all of you my fellow black Zimbabweans, No other president in the entire continent of Africa has done what I have done for you, but you continue to take me for granted.
Do you know that in the whole of Africa, Zimbabweans are the only blacks who own their land? We are the only blacks who own and run means of production, we own our own companies and our own land, That is the true meaning of independence. Political and economic independence.
I have fought tooth and nail my entire political life to ensure that all of you have both political and economic independence, I don’t hate white people, No, Not at all. What I hate is their thinking that they are better than us, That they can just come to our country and take our resources and our land, And tell us what to do, To that I say no, Today, I am happy that almost all the land is in black hands.
It's up to you to use the education I gave you to develop the land so it is productive so you can feed yourself, One thing I am proud of is that I worked hard to ensure our natural resources and our land was given back to its rightful OWNERS: You the black people of Zimbabwe.
Go to other countries in Africa, Right here just across Limpopo, In South Africa, Mandela sold out and gave all the land and economy to the whites, The blacks in South Africa will be slaves to white South Africans forever, As long as land is not in the hands of its rightful owners, The Africans, The black man will continue to suffer in his own land.
The real wealth is now in your hands, I wrestled it away from the white people who came to steal it from you, Yes, The world was angry at me and punished the whole country with sanctions, But I don’t care because I know I was doing the right thing, I was empowering my people, You should take care of the land and the industries I have given you.
I did my part, The ball is now in your court, Do your part, You will remember me and appreciate me for what I have done for you when I am gone....
Your president and leader of Africa for Africans!
Robert Gabriel Mugabe!!

How Grace Mugabe's Ambition Fueled The Coup
By Atta Ikideh
Mugabe the deposed President of Zimbabwe, Constantine Chiwenga the Head of the Zimbabwean Military and Mnangagwa the sacked Vice President of Zimbabwe are all friends, very good friends, they are comrades. The three men were in their 20's when they entered the bushes and took part in the liberation struggle to free Zimbabwe from white rule. Mugabe who was initially the Sect General of ZANU PF, became the head of state, the other two men were equally given plum positions of power and have continued as the 3 musketeers presiding over the destiny of Zimbabwe for 37 years.
Sometime in the 90's - Mugabe, the first musketeer fell in love with his personal secretary who happened to be another man's wife at the time, the lady's name was Grace and she became his mistress. While Mugabe was still married Grace had children for him. In 1996 they became man and wife after the death of Mugabe's first spouse.
But Grace was no ordinary mistress turned wife, she was not ready to take a backseat, she turned herself into Mugabe's political confidant, she used the bed and made her way to the very centre of Zimbabwean politics straining the relationship between Mugabe and his two comrades.
Mnangagwa the 2nd musketeer after many years of loyalty became Mugabe's Vice President in 2014, paving the way for his eventual hold on power should Mugabe retire, resign or die. But Grace had other ideas she wangled her way into ZANU PF's politburo and began her move to take out Mnangagwa and take power from her ailing husband.
In August 2017 Mnangagwa accused certain persons in the party of trying to poison him and made references to Grace. This didn't go down well with Mugabe, how could anyone accuse his beautiful Serengeti Rose flower. What Mugabe forgot was that boys are allowed to fight but the brotherhood must stay strong and united. In a move that shocked everyone (but didn't shock his beloved Grace) , he removed Mnangagwa from the position of Vice President, Mnangagwa not sure of what Grace will do to him fled to South Africa.
Now, in comes the 3rd musketeer Chiwenga Head of the Zimbabwaean military, a friend and brother of both Mugabe and Mnangagwa, "this is all the fault of one woman", he is probably thinking in his mind, " we were one until this woman came. I trust Mnangagwa to takeover, I don't know this woman; by the way, where was she when we were sleeping in the bushes before the liberation".
Chiwenga sends a warning to Mugabe advising him to put his house in order, the first time he has ever spoken this way to his senior comrade. Thinking Mugabe will take the signal, call him, negotiate and talk things over a cup of tea. NO! Mugabe does the exact opposite, he sends his Minister of Information to tell the Army General to stay out of State matters, Mugabe then finalises plans to sack Chiwenga perhaps to pave an unhindered route to the throne for Grace.
The military chief thought this had gone too far his brother and comrade in arms had drunk deep from the strange woman's bosom, it's wasn't him acting any longer , so he rolled out his tanks early this morning. He's therefore right when he says,"this is not a coup" ; when you really look at it, 3 friends have only fallen out over the inordinate ambitions of a woman.
Latest reportś say Mnangagwa the 2nd Musketeer is on his way back from South Africa, i've just read a report he's going to be installed interim President. The 1st Musketter Mugabe is under house arrest. The 3rd Musketter is in the saddle promising calm and quick elections. The 3 men have held Zimbabwe under lock and key for 37yrs, this is nothing but a change of baton. Zimbabwe needs a real revolution out of the hands of the veterans of the liberation struggle. No doubt in the 21st century Zimbabwe is the frozen out Animal Farm in George Orwells celebrated work.
Meanwhile the woman Grace, who started the whole katakata, I hear has fled the country leaving her beloved husband who sacrificed everything, to face an uncertain fate.
16m Zimbabweans could not remove Mugabe but a woman did.
Mama was always right when she always told me, "son - be careful who you fall in love with and eventually marry".
A lesson to all men.

Prof. Osibanjo And The 3 Typists (Leadership from Behind)
While I was teaching at the University of Lagos, as a young lecturer, in the department of Public Law in the Faculty of Law, there were 3 typists in the department. The chief typist, senior typist, and the junior typist. Because in those days before laptops and personal computers, typists in universities had to do a lot of work and they were very important because you always needed to type all your materials.
When there was work to do, what l discovered was that the chief typist would disappear. He works only till 4 pm. The senior typist would be nowhere to be found. But a gentleman called Adereni the junior typist, who only had his school certificate, was remarkably hardworking. Sometimes I would drop him off at his home at 1am.
Years after I was working as an adviser to the then Attorney-General of the Federation Hon. Bola Ajibola, who later became a judge of the World Court. While in the court at The Hague, in the Netherlands, one day he called me and asked if I could recommend a good secretary who is hard working and could do long judgments. I had three options, chief typist, senior or this junior typist, but the junior typist at a time had only school certificate, he didn’t have any other qualification but l choose him. He got to the Hague, and typically worked hard and diligently. Every judge in the court wanted him to work with them. He later moved his family over to the Hague and got degrees and made a good living for himself. One day he remembered me and actually sent me a car.

The Pharmacist And Condom Buyer
Peter goes into a Pharmacy & said to the pharmacist;
*"Hello, could you give me a Condom !😳? I'm going to my Girlfriend's place for dinner & I think I may be in with a chance!"*
The Pharmacist gave him the Condom & as Peter was going out, he stepped back in to the Pharmacy & say; *"Give me another Condom because my Girlfriend's Sister is very cute too. She always crosses her legs in a provocative manner when she sees me & I think I might strike a luck there too !😳"* The pharmacist gave him a *second Condom* and as Peter was leaving, he again put another request; *"Give me one more condom because my girlfriend's Mum is still pretty cute !😳 & when she sees me, she always make eye contact & since she invited me for dinner😳, I think she is expecting me to make a move😇!* During dinner, Peter sat with his Girlfriend on d left, the Sister on his right & the Mum facing him😇 When the Dad walks in🙄, Peter lowers his head and starts the dinner prayer; *"Dear Lord, bless this dinner and thank you for all u've given us !"*
Ten minutes after, Peter was still praying; *"Thank you Lord for your kindness. ...."*
Ten minutes go by, and peter is still praying, keeping his head down, very close to the table. They all looked at each other, surprised & his girlfriend was even more surprised than others.
So, she moved closer to him & whispered; *"I didn't know you were so religious !😳"*
Peter with his head still on the table replies: *"I never knew your Dad was the Pharmacist !🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄"*

Need For You To Change To LED Bulbs Immediately
Is a subsidy on LED lighting economically viable?
The governments in many countries have been nudging their citizens to move away from electricity guzzling incandescent bulbs to greener alternatives like LED. Incandescent bulbs are, in fact, banned in a number of countries. According to an estimate, the ban on the use of incandescent bulbs has helped Europe save as much as 40 TWh of electricity each year, not to mention reduction of CO2 emissions by as much as 15 million tons.
But the switch to LED is not going to be easy, at least in poor and developing countries. Despite the dramatic fall in prices of LED bulbs over the past several years, they are still five to ten times more expensive than incandescent bulbs. That is not to say that LED bulbs are not a better alternative. Studies show that LED bulbs can have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. To give this some perspective, the corresponding figure for an incandescent bulb is just 1,200 hours. In other words, if you were to run a bulb for twelve hours every day, an incandescent bulb would last for just 100 days. In comparison, the LED bulb could last well over 11 years.
These studies however may not make much sense to the average daily wage worker who might be more concerned about the higher capital investments required to install an LED bulb. To such a consumer, the per-unit costs matter more than the lifespan.
Government subsidies could thus help these consumers hop on the LED bandwagon without having to worry about the higher per-unit cost. In 2015, the government of India announced a scheme to offer free and subsidized LED bulbs to consumers across the country. The UJALA scheme is expected to replace 200 million incandescent light bulbs across the country with LED bulbs, saving 35 million kWh of electricity. In monetary terms, that’s a saving of over $2 billion dollars.
The game plan here is to force an increase in demand for LED bulbs through subsidies and incentives. This helps manufacturers scale up production volume, which will subsequently bring down prices. This way, when the consumer is in the market for new bulbs, the retail price of lighting equipment will be low enough for them to afford it without the need for any subsidy.
So how well are these incentives working economically? In the case of India, the production of LED bulbs shot up from one million units a month in 2014 to 40 million in 2016. Subsequently, the price of these products has fallen from INR 310 (roughly $4.75) in 2014 to just over a dollar at present day prices. The price has been brought down even further to less than 50 cents for consumers taking advantage of the government subsidy.
There are over 250 million households in India and over 270 million LED bulbs have been distributed by the government so far. Assuming a mean price of $2.5 per bulb over the three year period, this is expected to have cost the government about $675 million. At $2 billion dollars, the corresponding savings in electricity are several times over this figure.
LED lighting, like solar panels, has proved to be an economically viable replacement for legacy technologies. It is high time that countries came together in pushing forward the adoption of these green technologies. This is the only way to push higher demand that will help bring down the cost for such technologies.

Why women Should Supervise Men At Home
After 10 years, the wife starts to think their child looks strange so she decides to do a DNA test.
She finds out that the child is actually from completely different parents.
Wife: Honey, I have something very serious to tell you
Husband: What’s up?
Wife: According to DNA test results, this is not our child.
Husband: Well you don’t remember, do you? When we were leaving the hospital, we noticed that our baby had wet its diapers and you said, "Please go change the baby, I’ll wait for you here." That's when I went inside, got a clean one and left the dirty one there.
*Moral* : Never give a man a job that doesn't belong to him. I hope the ladies are listening? 😂😂 🤣😜

How Babangida's Passion Made 3rd Mainland Bridge Possible
The Story of Lagos Third Mainland Bridge – General Ibrahim Babangida
“If I remember very well, in 1982 or 83, yeah, I saw a programme, “The Squandering of Riches”, on an American television channel. They were reporting on some of the white elephant projects that African governments embarked upon. I watched as the lead presenter climbed the abandoned 3rd Mainland Bridge and as he talked, he gave it as an example of how African governments embarked on projects and never completed them.
And when he got to the point where the construction stopped then, he said nobody could tell where the construction was leading [to] at that time and that he was of the opinion that it could well lead to oblivion.
That struck me and informed my desire to change that narrative. I saw it an insult, a foreigner talking about my country in that manner. I also saw it as something I needed to do something about if given the opportunity.
That was what happened. And fortunately, as God would have it, in 1985, I was appointed the military president. I remember the thing very well. It is in my head. I told myself I was going to ensure the completion of the project. So, I called Raji Rasaki who was the military governor of Lagos State at the time. We sat down and had a good chat about it. As usual, he said, “Well, this is a state government. We probably don’t have the money to complete it.” And I said, “No, let’s put our resources together and see what we can do.”
There was Julius Berger. There were PGH and Bank Anthony, an Italian contractor and one or two others, and then Lagos State government itself. So, I brought them all together and said, look, this is my intention, is it doable? They all looked at me and said yes, it was doable provided I was going to provide the money. And I said money won’t be a problem, because the state government, Federal Government and PGH were going to provide the money. So, the engineers and everybody said yes, it could be done. It happened on my birthday, when we had that meeting.
So, I said, “I will have to commission this bridge on any of my birthday.” That was a challenge I gave the engineers and they took it very seriously. So, Colonel Raji Rasaki and I put our heads together and, sure, the money was made available so that when the work started, there wouldn’t be any delay due to lack of funds.
We got the money ready and the engineers were mobilized to site. That was how the completion of the 3rd Mainland Bridge restarted. By God’s grace, they fulfilled their promise and on my next birthday, I commissioned that bridge.
It was the longest bridge in Africa at that time and mostly built by Africans. I did not spend up to N1 billion on that bridge. Today, you have to spend about N1 trillion to build that bridge. You see the bridge still standing strong. It will continue to stand strong because the government is doing well with it; they are maintaining it.”

The British Surgeon Murdered In Delta State
07/11/2017, 6:46:10 PM: +234 803 301 3666: You would most likely never have heard of this man....
Ian Squire, 57, ran his own opticians in Shepperton, Surrey, and had been founder and chairman of Christian charity Mission for Vision since 2003. Their mission? To take old glasses to remote African areas from donations to his surgery in Surrey.
He also invented a portable solar-powered frame and lens cutting machine to enable prescription glasses to be made in remote regions of the world.
Ian , and 3 other charity workers, were recently in the small village of Ekameta in Delta state of Nigeria. Their mission? To offer cataract operations and eye check-ups to local people and to set up a much needed eye clinic in the remote village.
Were they feted and welcomed by the local community, made to feel at home and protected by all and sundry for the laudable, humanity-driven and selfless services they were rendering? No!!
He was kidnapped from his accommodation along with three other Brits, David Donovan, his wife Shirley and Alanna Carson in the early hours of October 13.
And following negotiations by the British High commission and Nigeria authorities, the three other Britons were released but not before the militants had killed Ian!!!
So the reward for selfless humanitarian service is death? And long after the Denizens of hell, these abhorrent animals would have spent their paid ransom, Ian Squire 's family , friends and clients would continue to mourn the loss of a man who has been described as a " a lovely, quiet man who everyone knew and loved as the village optician.".
And the people of Ekameta would suffer the loss of an humanitarian who wanted to help them see only for them to be plunged into darkness by their own hands.
I urge the Nigerian government to do all within its power to track down and to administer appropriate and full justice to these murderers. And the people of Ekameta and environs have a duty to assist law enforcement agencies in their task to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to book.
That way at least his family would obtain some solace and the battered image of Nigeria slightly repaired.
Rest in Peace Ian Squire. Your killers shall know no peace.

Another Case Of Kidnap And Marry In Nigeria
Mrs. Deborah Dadi, wife to the former CAN Secretary of Gashua, Bade LGA of Yobe State has just been crying on phone to me this night 4/11/17 for the release of her daughter.
Hauwa Dadi a 13 year old twin, an SS1 Student of the Brighter Academy Secondary School Gashua had been abducted and kept at the palace of Abubakar Mai Umar Suleman, the Emir of Gashua since Thursday, 1/11/17.
On this day, Miss Hauwa Dadi went to help her twin brother push water home on a cart, called "push push" but she has not returned home since then.
Hauwa's mother, Mrs. Deborah Dadi said she went to look for her daughter in the Neibor hood and heard that Hauwa has been abducted by her Neighbours and was taken to Imam Babu Alkali Mamman, the Immam of Gashua.
Mrs. Deborah then reported the matter to Inspector Melody Habila at the Gashua Police Command. When Immam Alkali was invited to the command, he pleaded to be allowed to take the Jumma'at prayers before coming but he never came. Instead, the Immam's lawyer later came to the Station and invited Deborah to the Emir's palace.
Hoping that she would be given her daughter, Deborah left for the Palace without informing the police. She met the Divisional Police Officer, DPO Abdulkadir Aljamel already seated with the Emir. After interrogating her, the Emir asked her to come back today the 4/11/17 for her daughter.
When Deborah went to the palace this morning she was asked to come back at 4pm. On reaching there at 4pm this evening, she was neither given her daughter nor allowed to see the Emir again.
Mrs. Dadi said, "they do this to us because we are few." According to her, Christians are just 10% in Gashua.
Stefanos Foundation is appealing to the relevant Authorities to step in and help this poor woman who has been nursing her sick husband for the past 6year.

Soldiers In NE Nigeria Write Buhari Over Corruption in Army
His Excellency,
President Muhammadu Buhari,
Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Arrmed Forces,
Presidential Villa,
Abuja.
Your Excellency,
Having read the online correspondence between Dr. Idris Ahmed of CUPS and our Army spokesman, Brigadier Generral S.K. Usman, I have decided to take a major risk and write to your Excellency directly over this issue.
Sir, I am a course-mate of Pvt. Abdulrauf Aliyu, who Oga S.K. claimed that he has gone AWOL. We trained at the same company, Depot Nigerian Army, Zaria, Kaduna State. We are presently posted to Operation LAFIYA DOLE. On behalf of all the colleagues of Pvt. Abdulrauf Aliyu, I categorically refute the allegation that Pvt. Abdulrauf Aliyu deserted the Army. The Sections 59 - 63 of the Armed Forces Act, Cap A20, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, as quoted by Oga S.K., has always been mentioned by our superiors, to protect themselves and antagonise us, whenever they have done mischief.
Your Excellency, the case of Pvt. Abdulrauf Aliyu is actually not an isolated one. There are many such cases of soldiers who got wounded at the battlefront. It is true, some are well looked after, as mentioned by Oga S.K. Usman in his press release. Unfortunately, due to corruption in the system, some unfortunate soldiers, mostly from less privileged backgrounds, are left to fend for themselves. Like myself, Pvt. Abdulrauf Aliyu comes from a humble family. He sustained life threatening injuries in the abdomen during a routine operation. The initial first aid treatment and medical care that he received was very inadequate. With full Army permission, Pvt Abdulrauf Aliyu and his family paid for his transfer to University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. Unfortunately, the care he received in Maiduguri Teaching Hospital too was inadequate. Eventually, his family had to pay for his transfer to a specialist facility in Sokoto.
Your Excellency, corruption in the Army is REAL, and it is killing us. Every man and woman who decided to join the Army knows the risks. While we expect to die in the hands of the enemy, we don’t expect to die in the hands of the Nigerian Army, due to corruption and criminal negligence.
Just the other week, about 14 (I am not sure of the exact numbers) of our colleagues died in the hands of Boko Harram, who attacked the Army camp. The circumstances surrounding their unnecessary death warrants a full investigation by his Excellency. Sir, you will be shocked of the outcome. The bodies of the slain heroes are still lying here in Damaturu, Yobe State. The story of this incidence has hardly been officially published by the Army or Nigerian media. Attached is the picture of the commander of the camp. He too died in the attack.
Your Excellency, this is the third month in a row that we have been denied of our operations allowance. We have to rely ONLY on our meager salary for everything. From battalion commanders, to Company and Sectors leaders, we are all in debt, because our salaries are not enough to sustain us at the battlefront while feeding our families back at home. It is a big shame that we have joined the Army to defend the civilians, yet we have to go to the civilians in town to borrow money to fend for ourselves at the battlefront.
Take for instance the food that we are fed. Most of the times it is not fit for human consumption. I attach for your perusal, your Excellency, the lunch that was fed to us this afternoon (3/11/2017). As you can clearly see, there is not a single piece of meat or fish in it. The taste of the food is so bad that we have to add surplus salt to be able to eat it. This is also dangerous for our health. A plate of our food per soldier is probably about two hundred Naira (N200).
It is said that the Federal Government spends about fourteen thousand Naira (N14,000) on each prisoner in Nigeria. Here, at the battlefront in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, the Army spends about six hundred Naira (N600) per day per soldier on feeding us, while in reality billions of Naira is appropriated per year for this purpose. Your Excellency, we are treated like animals. Most of us are afraid to talk because of the dire consequence.
As the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, your Excellency, kindly investigate. There is corruption in the Army. Brave soldiers are needlessly dying.
By Patriotic Soldier.
Operation LAFIYA DOLE.
Damaturu.
Yobe State.

Use of Arabic Motto By Nigerian Army Challenged in court
RE: SUIT NO :FHC /CS/AWK/115/2017- Nwafili Okwuosa Esq vs. Nigerian Army Council & Attorney General of the Federation.
*The Nigerian Army has its logo which expresses her motto in Arabic.
* This has raised eyebrows in several quarters as to the propriety of that, taking into cognizance that Arabic is neither an indigenous language nor our lingua franca. It is simply the language of the Islamic Religion.
* Nigeria as a country has its grundnorm - the Constitution, written in English Language. It is the same language that is used to transact official businesses within the country by the three arms of government. Same language extends to businesses at International fora to wit- Economic Community of West African States, African Union, United Nations, etc.
Only in moments of expediency, are our three major languages - Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, deployed.
* The vistas of lingua franca and local languages further poignantly questions the rationale in using Arabic, which is peculiar to the Islamic Faith, on the logo, which logo appears in official documents emanating from the Nigerian Army.
* Viewed from strict legal lenses, this scenario raises the fundamental question as to the constitutionality of the modus operandi adopted by the Army in her use of Arabic; which is a language peculiar to the Islamic Faith.
Is this not in terrorem against Section 10 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) which forbids the adoption of a state religion?
* Nwafili Mark Okwuosa Esq, a private legal practitioner in Onitsha, Anambra State and Human Rights, Constitutional cum Political Rights crusader, challenges the constitutional consistency of this act of the Nigerian Army.
* The Claimant has approached the Federal High Court, Awka Division, Anambra State, vide an Originating Summons, seeking, amongst others:
A declaration that Arabic is not an official language for the conduct of official businesses in Nigeria;
A declaration that the writing of the motto of the Nigerian Army on her logo in Arabic is illegal and unconstitutional, in the light of provision of Section 10 of the Nigerian Constitution 1999 (as amended); and
An Order compelling the Army to rewrite, in English, the motto on her logo and effect same in all her official documents.
* The suit is billed for hearing on 6/12/2017.

Reno Omokri Supports Daddy Freeze Against Tithing
On Daddy Freeze and The Hoopla About Tithing.
First published in my weekly column #TheAlternative in ThisDay of Saturday November 4, 2017.

The recent todo on the issue of tithing which was sparked up by popular On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze (Freeze Coolfm), is actually a sad reflection of the state of Christianity in Nigeria specifically and the Black world in general.
Why? Because it proves that it is still true that if you want to hide anything from a Black man all you need to do is to put it in a book!
If all those who have opined about this matter had cared to read what The Holy Bible says about tithing, I am convinced that it would not have led to as big a controversy as it is today.
So many people have spoken for and against tithing and the thing that bothers me most about their interventions is that it references their pastor, a certain sermon, their opinion or something they have heard.
As a matter of fact, somebody commented that if only I read a certain book by David Yongi Cho, I would know that he (the commenter) was right in his opinion on tithing.
On the issue of tithing as well as on any other ecclesiastical issue, there is only one reference point and that is The Bible.
2nd Timothy 3:16 says:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (KJV)
This pretty much covers it. Any controversy about tithing must be settled by The Bible.
The truth is that tithing as presently practiced by many churches, especially the so called Pentecostal or Evangelical churches, is unscriptural.
Take away tithing and the attraction and motivation to be the founder and president of an 'international ministry' would disappear.
The Bible actually warned us of such times as this in 1 Timothy 6:5-6.
Constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain. (NIV)
The truth is that tithing is an age old AGRICULTURAL practice that predated even Abraham and Moses. Ancient communities, including African communities, set aside a certain potion of their harvest (usually a tenth) and sacrificed it to their gods through his priests.
Now the tithing that Moses taught about was instituted by the living God because the Levitical priests were not given a portion of the land of Canaan as an inheritance and as a result they were to be supported by their fellow brethren.
Numbers 18:20-21 says:
The Lord said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites.“ I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the tent of meeting. (NIV)
From the above it is clear that the tithes were specifically gifted by God to the Levites.
You will never find anywhere in Scripture were God, His Son Jesus or the early apostles and disciples asked the New Testament church to pay tithes to pastors.
Pastors do not replace Levites. In the New Testament, pastors worked and earned a living. They were not dependent on the church and the following verse proves it.
I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive."-Acts 20:33-35. (NIV).
The above was a farewell message from Paul who had pastored a church in Ephesus. I have been to Ephesus. I have been to the market where Paul had his tent making business.
Neither Jesus, nor Paul nor any of the fathers of the early church collected any tithes from their congregation because they were not Levites who were prevented from doing any type of work other than temple service.
Rather than tithing, the book of Acts teaches us in Acts 2:44-45 that the early Christians lived a communal life and shared EVERYTHING they had.
All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.
Too often, pastors try to manipulate their congregation by quoting Malachi 3:8-10
“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole NATION—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (NIV)
I want my readers to note the words 'NATION' in the Scripture above. Scripture must be used to unlock Scripture.
The above Scripture was directed to the NATION of Israel. This is clear from Malachi 3:6
"I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed" (NIV)
The reason God said the Israelites were robbing Him is because, as I have proved above with Scripture, on their way to the promised land, God made a deal with them that He would not give the Levites a share of the land of Canaan so that they could focus on Him and the work of the Temple.
In return the rest of the Israelites were to give God the tithes of their agricultural produce from the land He gave them and God in turn gave His tithes to the Levitical priesthood.
It is funny that pastors who insist that Malachi's verses on tithing must apply to them do not insist that other Old Testament provisions should also apply to them.
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 commanded the ancient Israelites to stone their stubborn children to death. Are tithe receiving pastors then prepared to stone their own stubborn children to death because of that Biblical verse?
Quoting an Old Testament verse to justify a New Testament life may appear hypocritical especially as Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith and His early disciples did not preach about tithing. Jesus talked about tithing only in passing while condemning the Pharisees. Pay your tithe if your conscience allows it, but don't use Malachi to justify it.
In the final analysis, I am not saying pay or don't pay tithes. I am just presenting the facts as an ordained pastor.
In fact, when the Pharisees insisted that the first Gentile converts to Christianity must be circumcised and keep the Mosaic Law, including tithing, the Council in Jerusalem overruled them and in Acts 15:19-20 gave only four commandments to the new Gentile believers and tithing was NOT one of those commandments.
Jesus mentioned tithe once (in passing when admonishing the Pharisees) but He preached salvation over 100 times.
Let our message in the church focus on Salvation not tithe! Abraham tithed. But He did not tithe to be blessed or that the devourer would be rebuked.
In fact, the tithing that Abraham tithed was completely different from the tithing God commanded the Israelites to do.
Abraham tithed from the goods he reclaimed from the kings he fought against. He did not tithe agricultural goods.
This is very clear from Hebrews 7:4
Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the PLUNDER! (NIV).
And one other thing that we should note is that Abraham paid tithes once. He did not pay tithes on multiple occasions to King Melchizedek. It was a one time specific event not a recurring weekly, biweekly, monthly or annual payment.
Are those pastors who insist on collecting monetary tithes aware that money existed during the times of the ancient Israelites, yet God never told them to pay monetary tithes. He only requested for AGRICULTURAL tithes so the Levites who had no farms could eat.
As a matter of fact, God told those Israelites who lived far away from the Temple not to even bother paying their agricultural tithes but to convert it to money and spend it on themselves.
We see this in Deuteronomy 14:24-27:
But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice. And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
Yes, Abraham tithed from his military victory but it does not mean that you must also tithe. Abraham had concubines. By the same logic, you should also have concubines.
The point I am trying to make is that the faith of Abraham culminates in Christ and under Christ, there is no compulsion to tithe. God has given each of us a conscience and His Spirit. If you are led to tithe then tithe. If you are not, then don't.
But let him that tithes not look down on him that does not tithe and let him who does not tithe not hold those who do in contempt. Your salvation is dependent on your faith in Christ Jesus and not whether or not you tithe. You can make heaven if you believe but don't tithe but not if you tithe and don't believe.
As a New Testament believer, what is required of you is a willing offering not a compulsory tithe. This is why 2 Corinthians 9:7 says:
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
We ought to understand that the biblical practice of tithing had two origins. The first was from Abraham, the prophet and patriarch and the other is the Mosaic Law.
In Christ, both the tithing by the prophet and the law have been fulfilled hence in Matthew 5:17 Jesus said:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
So because of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, we do not need the Levitical priesthood as go betweens us and God since Jesus is "The Way, The Truth, and The Life." (John 14:6)
In the same way, we do not need Abraham's blessings since God has blessed us "with every spiritual blessing in Christ." (Ephesians 1:3).
As a matter of fact, Colossians 2:10 teaches us that 'we are complete in Christ'.
So don't let any pastor psyche you into believing that your worship of God is not complete until you have paid your tithe.

You May Have All You Need For Happiness
*The Missing Goat!?*
It all started one lazy Sunday afternoon in a small town near Toronto in Canada.
Two school-going friends had a crazy idea.
They rounded up three goats from the neighborhood and painted the numbers *1, 2 and 4* on their sides.
That night they let the goats loose inside their school building.
The next morning, when the authorities entered the school, they could smell something was wrong.
They soon saw goat droppings on the stairs and near the entrance and realized that some goats had entered the building.
A search was immediately launched and very soon, the three goats were found.
But the authorities were worried, where was *goat No. 3?*
They spent the rest of the day looking for goat No.3.
The school declared classes off for the students for the rest of the day.
The teachers, helpers, guards, canteen staffs, boys were all busy looking for the goat No. 3, which, of course, was never found.
Simply because it did not exist.
Those among us who inspite of having a good life are always feeling a "lack of fulfilment" are actually looking for the elusive, missing, non-existent
Goat No.3.
Whatever the area of complaint or dissatisfaction, relationship, job-satisfaction, finance, achievements, ......
An absence of something
is always larger than the
presence of many other things.
Let's Stop worrying about goat No.3 and enjoy the life...
Life would be so much happier
without the worries....😊
*Have a blessed Day....!!!*
And don't let the non existent imaginary goat number 3 waste your time and happiness.
Enjoy life with what you have.
