Sen Abaribe Arrested For Embarrassing Buhari Over The Illegal Addition Of N30b To The Budget Passed by Senators.
The Nigerian outspoken Senator, Dr Enyinnaya Abaribe was Arrested this afternoon for revealing president Buhari’s illegal addition of Extra N30billion to the budget already passed by the National Assembly.
The Presidency was angered by the Senator’s action querying why he did not complain quietly to the President, rather spoke to the media to bring the president’s integrity to question.
The senator always criticised the Buhari administration over its incompetence in handling of economic and security matters.
Senator Abaribe raised questions yesterday on a N30bn budgetary provision which found its way into the budget signed by President Buhari, a sum which did not go through NASS appropriation, clearly smuggled in.
