YOU MAY BE TOO RIGHT TO BE HAPPY

There were two houses standing next to each other. In one of them resided a very unhappy family. The spouses yelled at each other, they fought and quarreled all the time. The other was a place of happiness and calm.

During one of the fights a wife asked her husband:

“Did you ever hear them quarrel or yell over at that house? No!

So, go there and see what they do to avoid it!”

The husband stood at the window of his neighbors and watched. There they were busy doing their own thing. The wife was in the kitchen cooking, and the man sat at the table writing. The phone rang, and the man jumped up and headed to the hallway to get it.

On his way he bumped into a vase, it fell and broke. He got down to his knees and started picking up the pieces. The wife ran into the room from the kitchen. She also kneeled down and started helping her husband to pick them up.

The man said to his wife:

“I am so sorry. I rushed to get the phone and bumped into the vase. It fell and got broken.”

The wife replied:

“No, honey, it is my fault. I put it there on the way. That’s why you bumped into it.”
They kissed, and that was over. Both got back to what they were doing.

The man who watched them returned to his wife. She wanted to know what the secret of their happiness was.

What he said was fantastic:

“I know it now. In their family they both are guilty and in our family both of us are always right!”

That’s the secret of family happiness!

Food for thought.

The "trick" isn't in not wanting to take responsibility, but rather in not claiming right.

There are times you need to forfeit your right to win your peace: depends on which you cherish most.

This recipe is applicable, not only in the home, but also at work and in all relationships.

Pls don't just read it. share it. You never can tell how many people this post will bless.

Wife: "Oh.. that means I am sick."

Hubby: "No No. If you don't want to get up, then it's OK."

Wife: "So now you think I am lazy, ha?"

Hubby: "NO. You are misunderstanding me. I didn't mean..."

Wife: "Aha! So I don't understand you because I'm an illiterate, right?"

Hubby: "Now look I didn't say that."

Wife: "So am I lying? "

Hubby: I beg you plz don't stretch it in the morning."

Wife: "Oh, now so I am a quarrelsome nag, am I?

HUBBY: "OK OK.. You go off to sleep. I am going jogging alone.. Happy Now??"

Wife: "You always go alone everywhere and enjoy yourself."

Hubby: "Plz  Plz.. I am feeling giddy now.."

Wife: "See? You are so selfish. Always think of yourself alone. You never think of my health."

Husband is sitting and thinking where he went wrong!!!

Nigerian Youths Are Day Dreaming Away Their Opportunities

Imagine This!

I wanted a painter and they brought me a Chinese. I wanted a "tiler", they brought me a Togolese. On my way out of my Estate, all I see are armies of jobless youths. They are always on the move, milling around with rucksacks on their backs, ears plugged with earphones, sagged pants with lengthy belts, going nowhere. They are looking to hammer. If you no hammer nko? Will you be carrying those things on your back as a 40year old when life has hammered you? Why are our young not learning a trade? Why are they not farming? Why are they fixated on big money instead of incremental earning? Why are they running away from the villages where they can easily eke out a living? Baba Kofi my Palm wine tapper makes more than N10000 profit on market days(every 5days). He makes about N3k daily. His electricity bill is N500. His shop costs N1000 a month. He grows his own food. He doubles as farmhand while his wife sells the Palm wine. By 2pm he has none left. His expenses are very low. He is from Ghana and making good here in Nigeria.

Here, the Togolese are doing neater and better jobs in masonry. They don't abscond with your money. They have their children in the trade already. Who wouldn't need a plumber with the way we clog sinks and lavatories? First it was the Ivoriennes, then Ghanaians, then Togolese and now the Chinese! The Chinese are damned good! Their work is perfect with artisanal joy! They speak passable English and they grasp Yoruba quite fast. They love it here for the money. Our own artisans are sloppy and without any regard for quality and finishing. They tell you they'll come on Monday only to show up 3weeks later with tales and bad attitude.

Elsewhere, they are only interested in riding Okada. No apprenticeship is required. It is a life of sharp-shap, now-now. 4 years into the daily N1,500-2000 per day. In the late evening they sit with matured women with big ikebe who can turn their innards out with mind blowing sex. The money for the day gets blown that way. They do osusu and the "sexual collector" collects. They start coughing. Before lung cancer can be diagnosed, they die! When you have no appetite for delayed gratification, you face whatever comes. Fear is catching me. I see it everyday, I prowl the Southwest hinterlands. I see a lot of stuff. Speak to those in your care. It will get tougher. 2017 will be painful. We have seen the end of free money. Now, everyone must earn their keep. We will get a brain reset whether we want it or not. Tell them o!..copied

LIFE LESSON IN A SHORT SCRIPT

*Beautiful life lessons*

_Written by *Regina Brett*, 90 years old, of the Plain b Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio_

_To celebrate growing older, I once wrote few lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written._

1. *Life isn't fair, but it's still good.*

2. *When in doubt, just take the next small step.*

3. *Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.*

4. *You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.*

5. *Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.*

6. *It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.*

7. *Make peace with your past so it won't mess up the present.*

8. *Don't compare your life to others.  You have no idea what their journey is all about.*

9. *Take a deep breath every now and then. It calms the mind.*

10. *Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.*

11. *Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.*

12. *It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else.*

13. *When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.*

14. *Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy clothes. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.*

15. *No one is in charge of your happiness but you.*

16. *Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'*

17. *Always choose life.*

18. *Forgive others and yourself.*

19. *What other people think of you is none of your business.*

20. *Time heals almost everything. Give time a little time.*

21. *However good or bad a situation is, it will change.*

22. *Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.*

23. *Believe in miracles.*

24. *God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.*

25. *Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.*

26. *Growing old beats the alternative of dying young.*

27. *Your children get only one childhood.*

28. *All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.*

29. *Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.*

30. *Envy is waste of time. Accept what you already have, not what you need.*

31. *The best is yet to come...*

32. *No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.*

33. *Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."*

NIGERIAN CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR GIVES VERDICT on ECONOMY

FROM NIGERIA CBN GOVERNOR
Mr. Godwin Emefiele’s Report:

Quote
“It is either I do not understand economics and how exchange rates work or a vast majority of us Nigerians still don’t get how we have wrecked our country with our own curious choices.
Just this morning, I was listening to the radio and the lady on air went on and on about how she thought CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele was incompetent and should be sacked because the Naira was now exchanging at 309 or so to the USD.
“That view pretty much echoes the sentiments expressed by many people I know and it amazes me that there are Nigerians who actually think there is some magic POLICY that can make the Naira strong in the near term. If my economics and my understanding of the way the world works are right, then that is as far from the truth as Jesus Christ is black.
“The simple fact of the matter is that apart from oil that accounts for over 90% of our revenues, we really don’t have much of an economy. We hardly produce anything, we import even toothpicks, so exactly what policy is going to be implemented that will turn Nigeria into a top exporting economy in the near term? Where are our Apples, IBMs, Disneys, GMs, General Electrics, Coca Colas, Empire State buildings, Statues of Liberties, Lockheeds, Citibanks, JP Morgans, ExxonMobils, NBAs, Super Bowls etc? Let me bring that closer home.
“There was a time long ago when Nigeria had a truly strong economy and the naira was one to the dollar – even exchanged for higher than the USD, but that Nigeria is not this Nigeria. Sadly that Nigeria was laid by the British, and this Nigeria (if you don’t believe in the nonsensical imperialist conspiracies like me) – fueled by the DAMAGING Indigenization Decree, has been the creation of us Nigerians.
Back then we had a booming economy.
We were either the top, or among the top exporters, of timbre, cocoa, groundnuts, rubber, palm oil, etc, in the world. Nigerians not only holidayed at home in their villages, at Yankari Games Reserve, at Obudu Cattle Ranch, at Oguta Lake, at Ikogosi springs, at Gurara Falls, at Mambilla Platueau, etc, we attracted international tourists who brought in loads of foreign exchange. Even Nigerian schools were foreign exchange earners because they attracted foreign students.
“We had different car assembly plants – Peugeot, Volkswagen, Anamco etc. Nigerian government officials only bought vehicles assembled in Nigeria for official cars. We had a thriving sports industry. We were not Man United or Chelsea fans, we were Rangers or IICC fans. We had the Nduka Odizors, people made money from sports. We also had companies like Lennards and Bata producing school shoes in their thousands, we had the thriving Nigerian Airways and the Aviation School in the north that produced some of the best pilots in the world. In those days if you were brilliant you were respected much more than the crass money-miss-road contractors of today. Most of the Aje Butters I knew had fathers who were university dons. Back then it meant something to ‘know book’. Our textile industry was alive and well. Just recently I watched a news report on the textile industry in Nigeria on CCTV News. Though the main focus was on the comatose status of the industry, I was stunned by the gigantic Kaduna Textile Mill built in 1957. I could go on and on.
“Today however, no thanks to our parents (and we must call them out the way Wole Soyinka did his generation) and many of us (and we should be remembered for failing our children if we continue like this), we have destroyed everything. Today for instance Nigerian football (which comes easy to me obviously) doesn’t appeal to us, we have to fly across thousands of miles to watch ‘our’ clubs play. Every year we collectively burn billions of Naira being fans of clubs that give us nothing back, but some ‘entertainment value’ – simple pleasures for which we are ready to destroy the future of our children.
“Well people, payback time is here. Even with our ta-she-re money we all want to wear designer clothes and carry designer bags, Armani, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton etc. We all want to drive jeeps with American specs, our children must now school overseas and acquire the necessary accents to come back home and bamboozle their ‘bush and crass’ contemporaries that they left behind. Who holidays in Nigeria anymore, is there Disneyland here? No one buys made-in-Nigeria school bags for their children, after all no Superman or Incredible Hulk or Cinderella on them.“We are no longer top exporters of anything and the demise of oil means we have zilch… zero. A country of 170M fashion-
conscious people has no textile industry. We take delight in showing how our made-in- Switzerland Aso Ebi is different class to everyone else’s. When we help our musicians grow and pay them millions, they repay us by immediately shipping the monies overseas to produce their “i-don-dey-different-level” music videos. It makes no difference that distinctly Zulu dancers are dancing to a Nigerian highlife song.
“As stars concerned they also wed and holiday overseas to impress us all. All the musicians who acknowledge their Ajegunle roots now speak in a cocktail of strange accents to symbolise how much they have blown their monies overseas. Were we a more serious people, the highly popular Kingsway Stores of the past would probably have a thousand outlets pan Nigeria today supporting a massive agriculture industry among others, but today we have the likes of SPAR, Shoprite, dominating the retail industry while Kingsway is dead.
“And we Nigerians make it a
special point to shop from the Oyinbos who have ‘cleaner shops’, ‘better this and better that’. For our personal pleasure we don’t mind them dominating us in our own backyard and shipping proceeds overseas. I could go on and on, but I don tire. Even as you are reading this, stop for a moment and look around you. What you see will probably explain why we are lucky it is not N1000 to the USD yet. And don’t think for a moment that it cannot get there.
“Just continue to wear your
Armani gear and Swiss-made
lace, continue to spend your
money on Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barca and encourage your children to do same. (My article tomorrow in my Saturday column in This Day is on the Nigerian champions Enyimba FC – Nigeria’s most successful club – not having a
sponsor, yet Nigerian brands pay over N600m to Man United and Arsenal for sponsorship to impress us.) Ehhh, no problem, continue to tell me the NPFL is rubbish or the clubs should clean up their act if they want sponsorship, mo gbo .
“Don’t curtail your interest in
choice wines ( we were the
number one champagne
consumers in the world in 2015), continue to love your American specs, cheer the education ministry for letting schools sink to pitiable levels, don’t fight them to improve our schools, don’t chide them for letting schools drop Nigerian history and embrace British, America and whatever else curricular.
“Carry on with your love of
French wines and Chinese silk, don’t bother about Jamiu Alli when there is Roger Federer.
Stock up on your Italian,
American, British products which you cannot live without, including the ‘baby soft’ toilet rolls produced only in that small unique village in England – the days are long gone since you were a broke student who used wet newspapers to wipe your butt.
“Don’t even consider holidaying in Nigeria, it’s too dangerous – you have to fulfill your dream of being Nigeria’s Henry Ford. Don’t listen to people like me who have a wardrobe full of only cheap adire that is actually cheaper than just one of your Tom Ford blazers. Please keep dressing in fine silk made in some exotic place so you can be addressed accordingly.
“Finally keep letting corrupt
leaders who have looted your
commonwealth and shipped all the monies overseas get away because to attack them does not fit your political narrative. Let us continue with the fine life, let us all continue to work for Oyinbo.
But don’t forget that there is a payback time: Worth sharing again. I must equally add, there is nothing wrong in wearing designers but it's the misplaced priority over the lives of children and the economy of a whole nation.
Remember that Because you can afford it, does not make it compulsory to have it.
Pls pass round until it sinks in

16 YEARS OF RECESSION IN JAPAN VS. 6 MONTHS IN NIGERIA

Nigeria's presidential aide Femi Adesina has attempted to convince Nigerians not to focus so much on the recession but continue to have hope that the county will become better before 2019 election. When he was asked if he had a time frame of when the recession will end, he reminded the journalist that Japan is in recession for the past 16 years and they are not in any distress. What he forgot to mention is that Japan 's external reserve and asset is the highest in the world, Japan has a stable currency and booming economy which may not be growing but is bubbling. Nigeria on the other hand has diminishing external reserve tumbling value of exchange rate and declining production. At a point Femi again went back to campaign mode and told Nigerians that the fight against corruption will lead to recovery of some funds which will be ploughed back into the economy to jumpstart the growth. He forgets that this is over one and a half year after the election. It is either you have recovered money already  or you will never recover any money.. The problem is about poor productivity poor structure and faulty constitution according to many Nigerians. Femi should stop peddling a failed principle of recovering money and injecting into the economy.

OBASEKI TAKES AFTER BUHARI " NO ROOM FOR OPPOSITION"

After a controversial election that held in Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki the governor elect has dashed the hope of anybody expecting him to be governor for everybody and governor for nobody. He told the press that there is no room for opposition members in his cabinet and nobody should expect unity government. Many are seeing that as an ill guided statement considering that the whole country is in recession and the best brains maybe what is needed to take Nigeria out of recession. In the case of Buhari who Obaseki wants to copy, Not only did Buhari avoid the opposition, he also avoid major party members who thought they had some stakes in the victory. Advice to Obaseki is to promise to carry everyone along even if he does not do it at the end of the day. After all Buhari said he did not belong to anybody and later said he belonged to the 97%. This country belongs to all of us ./

PETER OBI RAISES THE BAR ON PRUDENCE IN NIGERIA AND AFRICA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LLHIgDOSfg link to part of Obi's speech

The former governor of Anambra state Peter G. Obi while working silently brought sanity to the politics of Anambra state and raised the bar of what prudence looks like. In a forum called platform already watched by many Nigerians, he demonstrated that Nigeria is wasting Billions of Naira in a life of opulence and careless culture of squandermania. While oil producing states  and wealthy states are busy borrowing Billions of Naira he saved money and still became the best performing governor and his state became the best performing state in Nigeria. In deed it was people like Peter Obi that Nigeria needed. It is very clear that the amount of money and time he spent on personal improvement courses were not wasted. It is left to Nigerian politicians to listen to his speech and start adjusting because young Nigerians are no longer smiling. The next election can no longer be business as usual and vibrant debate will be must. From those who call themselves Mr. integrity and those that call themselves anti corruption champion and so on. The Lagos business school is there for all of you to upscale your skill and get your act together because the younger generation is coming out for positions.and their votes will count.

USA AVOIDS NIGERIA TO BUILD AIRFORCE BASE IN NIGER REPUBLIC

In a bid to get closer to the Boko haram ravaged Northern Nigeria, USA has budgeted  $50 Million for a new air base in Niger republic. This is money needed in Nigerian economy but going to Niger. Many Nigerians are now re examining the relationship between Nigeria and America. Not only did Barrack Obama avoid Nigeria for years but the decision to fight Boko Haram from Chad and Niger has shown lack of confidence in Nigeria. We recall that Buhari begged America to start buying crude oil again from Nigeria which was laughable because USA is in a position to sell their own oil today. Nigeria should work hard to put her acts together to win confidence of world powers and to survive. Areas of embarrassment include child health and education, rigging of elections, human rights, lack of merit, abuse of freedom, corrupt budgets, outrageous remuneration and many other areas. No wonder people are no longer interested in coming to invest in Nigeria .

PHILIPPINES PRESIDENT IDOLIZES ADOLF HITLER

The Philippines president Rodriguez Duterte has again made headlines for the wrong reason. He has likened the capital punishment meted on drug users and peddlers to Holocaust of Adolf Hitler and has promised to kill all of them in one big swoop if possible. This is the same Philippines where Islamic fundamentalists are claiming territory and threatening to form a caliphate and he has not stopped them. In some advanced countries drug users are treated as sick people, they are offered free syringes to avoid spread of disease and a sharp container is left in every bathroom for disposal of syringe. Mr. Duterte should realise that just the same way he thinks he is doing God's work by killing drug pushers, The terrorists in his territory are also thinking that they are doing God's work by fighting Jihad . Anybody who thinks he can solve all the problems of this world alone will soon become one of the major problems of the world.

DUE PROCESS ADVOCATE OR PERSECUTION INSURANCE

Desperate time they say, calls for desperate measures. A group of Nigerians both at home and in diaspora after observing the incessant intimidation, extra judicial killing and illegal detention of innocent Nigerians, have come together to float what they called due process advocate. You pay to become a member and whenever you are arrested by police illegally, they intervene on your behalf, publicize your incarceration, send a lawyer to help bail you and probably prevent maltreatment by police. This is the same police force that Vice president of Nigeria rated very high not long ago. This is a country claiming to practice democracy but any innocent person can be arrested and jailed for years without any recourse to law or government intervention. In my own assessment the due process advocate is doing a good job but that is something that can only arise in a malfunctioning environment. I believe Nigerian police should re-train and not become a terrorist against which Nigerians are now paying dues to be protected from. The proposed regional police should take off immediately let me see if a local police will maltreat their people the way the present police  maltreat Nigerians

AIRLINES REJECT NIGERIA'S NAIRA AS LEGAL TENDER

Emirate airlines have join other airlines plying the Nigerian air space to ask for payment of airfare in United States dollars rather than Naira. In fact pay with any other currency rather than Naira. This is not unrelated to the unpredictable exchange rate of Naira in the parallel exchange market. These airlines are operating with aeroplanes on lease and lease is paid in dollars. Therefore it makes sense that they should collect their fare in dollars. Another reason is that they lost a lot of money when they found it hard to purchase dollars from the government of Nigeria at the beginning of this present administration. This is a sensitive issue because other Nigerians who have their wealth stored in Naira are also losing value of their wealth that are hard earned. To make matters worse the government is now charging higher taxes on dollars sent to Nigeria from abroad. Nobody wants to send money anymore especially through Western Union. Some Nigerians now trade by bata in which case they give a fellow Nigerian abroad the dollar they want to send home and the person gives them Naira that is already in Nigeria and there is no need to send any money. I think free flow of dollars should be encouraged. Any Nigerian that wants to sell goods in dollars should be allowed until such a time we figure out how to arrest the steep decline in value of Naira. Otherwise, when importers sell in Naira and cannot buy dollars to replenish their stock due to the fall in value of naira, that will represent another job lost and another citizen in distress.

SAUDI ARABIA CUTS SALARY WHILE NIGERIANS PAD BUDGET

Nigeria and Saudi Arabia have the common problem of over dependence on crude oil for economic survival. Both countries are facing declining revenue, however whereas the population of Saudi Arabia is only a fraction of the population of Nigeria Saudi Arabia makes several times more money from crude oil sales than Nigeria. It has been demonstrated that Nigerian law makers and politicians are the best paid in the world. Meanwhile while Saudi is adjusting to reality, planning for post oil economy and cutting salary of ministers by 20%, Nigerian law makers are busy adding figures to budget for themselves, trying to sell all the remaining national assets and are still collecting huge amounts of money as security votes. It goes a long way to show that our leaders are not really appreciating the problem facing the country. We are still funding a big government with scarce resources. In any case Kudos to senator Ben Bruce who has suggested cutting of salary of politicians as a way of saving money. Whether the politicians will listen to him is another kettle of fish.

SENATE URGE ABUJA RESIDENTS TO SLAUGHTER EVERY COW IN SIGHT

A senate committee led by Senator Dino Meleye of Kogi state rose from a meeting and ordered Abuja residents to kill any Fulani caw they see roaming the streets in Abuja. At a point the same committee told them to arrest the cows and demand N50,000 fine. They were probably speaking out of frustration because when you ask someone to kill a cow, how much are you paying him to kill the cow and what will happen to the dead cow lying on the road. Are you going to also train Abuja residents on cow killing skills or are you urging them to approach a cow with a knife and risk being kicked in the groin. This solution is absolutely risky, expensive inhuman and has failed on arrival. This particular senate did not pass any law when hundreds of Nigerian citizens died in Agatu over land for cow grazing. This time around they feel bad that cows are roaming the streets of Abuja and instead of passing a law they are giving ordinary people butchering license and law enforcement license at the same time. The Senate should pass a comprehensive law to band grazing in farms and residential areas and ask police to enforce the law. No Abuja resident should approach a cow with a knife unless the person has a contract and written authority from senate to kill cow for them.

Assumption Is The Mother Of All Blunders

Marriage For Political Influence In Zamfara State Nigeria

Marriage is an important institution that can affects someone's life either positively or negatively if not done for the right reason. A few young women have openly stated that they can only marry for love but in the case of Zahra Buhari the daughter of Nigeria's president I doubt if she has a say concerning who to marry. The Governor of Zamfara state Abubakar Yari who is estimated to be at least 47 years followed the Buhari family to New York and has indicated interest in marrying the 21 year old UK trained damsel for political connection. I heard that Buhari readily rejected the proposal declaring that "Yari cannot marry Zahra" Instead of meditating on the response, Yari has gone ahead to accuse Buhari of being unreasonable. He believes that Buhari got her present wife pregnant at the age of 12 years and so does not have the moral justification to stop his marriage to a 21 year old woman. We all know that former governor of Borno state Al Modu Sheriff respected himself by sending his son to marry from Buhari's family instead of going to Buhari's house himself. Governor of Zamfara state is therefore urged to do the right thing in this 2016, if you do not have a son that you can use for that political marriage then sponsor an adopted son but bear in mind that Buhari's influence may not guarantee political success. Muslim fathers should allow their daughters to have a say  regarding who to marry and to even marry decent Christians in order to promote unity in Nigeria.

APC Party Chairman Allegedly Bites The Hand That Fed Him

The national leader of Nigeria's ruling party APC has accused the party chairman Odegie Oyegun of jeopardizing the future of the party by going against the national working committee to conduct Ondo state primary with a concorted list of delegates instead of the authentic list. Bola Tinubu called for outright resignation of the party chairman to save the party. He however acknowledged that Oyegun was not acting of his own accord rather Oyegun was under the influence of a sinister hand. In order words Oyegun was faced with the prospect of serving two masters and he chose to serve the most powerful of the two masters. We all recall how Tom Ikimi was positioning himself to be elected chairman of APC only to get a memo from Tinubu that the position belonged to Oyegun. Tom Ikimi subsequently abandoned the APC ship in annoyance. The disease that struck PDP may as well hit APC in Ondo state as Akerodolu is urging peace and another section of the party have sworn that he is an illegitimate candidate. The question now is who is going to prevail in this hostility? We all saw how Bello of Kogi state was propelled into celebration last week at the expense of those who are regarded as leaders but not given the role of a leader. It is becoming very hard to distinguish APC from PDP . Please all parties should put the interest of the nation first.

Credibility Of Nigerian Army Takes Another knock

After the Nigerian air force  carried out some bombing campaign about 2 months ago, Nigerian army spokes man exhibited the rare confidence of the American army by telling Nigerians that the leader of Boko haram has been killed or at least mortally wounded. They said they have credible source within the jihadist group that confirmed the injury and that all the displaced people can now go back to their villages since Boko Haram is no longer controlling any part of Nigerian territory. Yesterday the controversial leader of Boko haram  released another video threatening more violence. The misguided jihadist did not even look sick or wounded in the video, however he is no longer standing in front of an armoured personal carrier as in previous videos, instead he used some pile of Qurans
to cover his legs. It is possible that they shot him in the lower leg while he was running away. We salute the gallantry of Nigerian army but please when you don't have all the information, just tell us that you are not sure. Your salary will still be paid.

Desperate Politicians And Their Violent Utterances

It is written that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. When politicians get desperate, they lose control begin to speak from their heart and their true nature may be revealed. I am not saying that those I will mention are violent but they have made suggestive utterances.

1, President Buhari while anticipating to be rigged out in election promised that baboon and Monkey will be soaked in blood if the election is rigged
2. Donald Trump while supporting gun ownership suggested that Hilary Clinton should disarm all her guards and expose herself to be attacked if she truly hate guns
3, Adams Oshiomhole  claims that PDP candidate for Edo state election cannot walk freely along the street in Benin city
4, Adamu Ciroma. promised Goodluck Jonathan that the Northerners will make the country ungovernable for him if he gets to win 2011 election
5. Oba of Lagos promised Igbos that Lagoon is waiting for them if they vote en masse and gets Agbaje elected.

These are but a tip of the iceberg. All information easily verifiable. Politics is not do or die. Allow the people to choose their leaders

Prison Escape With Forwarding Address

A man escaped from Yaba Psychiatric Hospital. When he got home, he called the Psychiatric Hospital on phone, the following conversation ensued;

MAN: Is there any one in Room eight at Ward one?
Receptionist: Just a minute sir hold on let me check.
A while later the Receptionist came back on the phone and said; “There is no one sir.”

The man exclaimed; “Wow! Okay my dear.”
The Receptionist responded; “But why did you ask sir?.”
The man replied; “I want to be sure that I’ve escaped.”

Good Day...😀😃😄😆

Why A Shrine Trapped A Pastor In Ogun State

The news filtered that a pentecostal pastor in Ogun state after boasting to his followers went ahead and attempted to desecrate and disempower a community deity and probably burn it down. This has become a common practice in Southern Nigeria where is is believed that those deities connive with other evil forces to retard the progress of whole communites. In this case the Pastor got disoriented became paralysed and dumb. It took the intervention of the chief priest and the traditional ruler to get him released from the power of the shrine in question. Some people have stated that there is nothing like evil spirit and that the fall and paralysis was a mere coincidence. Others are saying that any person that is worth his education should not recognise the power of spirits or evil forces. What they fail to forget is that some Nigerian rain makers were once contracted by queen of England to prevent rainfall during one of her vital ceremonies. Jesus Christ who is a God recognised the power of evil spirits and actively commanded them. When the disciples of  Jesus Christ failed to cast out an evil Spirit and Jesus easily removed any evil Spirit, the disciples were shocked. They asked Jesus " How come you are able to cast out all demons and we cannot cast out some?" Jesus replied that certain Spirits can only be cast out after praying and fasting has been done. In order words you have to prepare, humble yourself and remember that you are not the one casting the Spirit but God Himself. Another point is that these ancient deities should be left intact after the evil Spirit is destroyed so that we can preserve some antiquities for local and international tourism. No need to burn down the shrines or to cast out the Spirit by force. The community should make the decision to cast out or not to cast out.

WEDDING NOT A BONANZA

A man reached a hotel where he was invited for a wedding .
He found two doors, one marked "brides, close relatives n friends" and the other "grooms, close relatives n friends".
He entered the grooms n found inside two other doors, one marked "for ladies only" and the other "gents only".
He entered the gents only and walked a few steps just to find 2 more doors one marked "those with gifts" the other "those without gifts".
Since he was among those who wasn't carrying any gift; he opened the latter door, ONLY TO FIND HIMSELF OUT ON THE STREET😂😂😂😂😂😀😀😀 copied

NIGER DELTA MILITANTS DON'T HAVE TO BE SPONSORED

Once again, Nigeria's president has gone abroad to tarnish the image of Nigeria through his utterances. He told the body of potential investors that those who ruled Nigeria in the past 16 years looted Nigeria dry and saved nothing and later said that the looters are now sponsoring the militants to destroy the economy. First of all,  we all know that the plight of the militants and their demands are beyond the anti corruption fight of the present federal government. Therefore it will be wrong to attribute the militancy to the anti corruption fight. Secondly in the course of crack down on vandalism and oil Bunkering, Nigerian Navy have destroyed several boats used for oil bunkering and and several illegal refineries where the Militants are producing gasoline and diesel for local use and for export. It is therefore very clear that these people do not need any sponsor to give them money to purchase weapons unlike Boko Haram that cannot engage in any economic activity. If Nigerian president is able to convince foreign investors that past government officials are sponsoring the militants, It shows that the demands of the militants may never be addressed squarely and the foreign investors are being told that Nigeria is divided, violent and non conducive for business and investment. People sometimes wash their dirty linen in market place without realising in. The operation crocodile smile I believe have helped to reduce the vandalization. It is time to curb the militancy issue once and for all

TO SELL NIGERIAN ASSETS OR TO BORROW FROM SHYLOCKS

The president of Nigeria Mohammadu Buhari is just like that your ultra conservative stubborn grand father or father who you are asking a question but somehow you already know the answer. It is clear that in Nigeria today, many poor people think they are suffering but the Billionaires are suffering more. They want to help but the arena is very hostile. once they see you with cash it will be seized before the investigation will commenced and that is if you are not arrested.  Those who have companies to front them are asking the government to sell of all the assets. Sell the liquified petroleum plant concession the airports sell all the saleable but trust Buhari he will wait until there is no longer an option before he can do anything. However those who understand him already know that he does not want to sell anything. In fact he may investigate any Nigerian that indicate interest in buying. When the value of Naira is crashing the rich feel it most because those whose total worth was one Billion dollars when Buhari took over,  are presently worth less than 500 Million Naira. They all know that buying assets is the best way to preserve wealth in a tumbling economy. Nobody is happy but they already know the answer to their question. In fact the quest for second tenure is the main reason Buhari is yet to investigate certain people. It may sound like a speculation but very close to the truth.

NIGERIA PRACTICE HUNTER GATHERING ECONOMY....................CHUKS NWACHUKWU

Mr Chuks Nwachukwu of Nigerian Chattered Institute of Public administration looked pained as he described Nigerian economy as a hunter gathering economy which is very primitive form of life practiced before civilization. He described a situation whereby the hunter represent the few sectors of the economy that is productive. He said that once the hunter return home from forest with the animal killed, all the members of the household will gather round the kill for the ceremony of distribution. When the meat is shared, The Village head will take first and may actually have the best part of the meat. After the village chief the titled men and the elders will take their own and the remainder will be divided among the hunter and other common men in the society. You are right if you have guessed already. The elders and chief represent the executives, senators and judges who earn several folds more than the ordinary man. Because the system is favouring them they will not encourage any change towards more productivity. He reiterated that Nigeria need to liquidate the federal government and restructure the country granting states more power so that everybody will participate in production and sharing accordingly. Well  Nigeria is not suffering because of lack of ideas She is suffering because if the good ideas are implemented, those presently occupying high table where they do not belong will be forced to go to the front seat or back seat where they belong. Who will bell the cat?

500 MILLION YAHOO ACCOUNTS SECRETS STOLEN

When the struggling tech company Yahoo announced that a huge amount of their data was stolen,, some people immediately went into panic mode thinking that all their secrets and personal life have been exposed. Many started changing password several times in a day, others started deleting sensitive emails just in case. For your information, you are probably more right than you presume. Have we forgotten why Snowden a top Security contractor defected to Russia? The man claimed that they listen to everybody's conversation and they read your email even before the recipient gets it. That is irrespective of whether you have been using apple, blue berry, jellybean or Linux. If you like you can add hyphen, underscore, dollar sign or any other character to your password.  My dear your secret has always been in the open. The question now is whether America has it or Russia has it and what they intend to do with it. Personally I will change my password but nothing to be scared about. If you are a bad guy you had better repent immediately. FBI is known to investigate and gather evidence for up to 15 years before they make an arrest. Nothing is hidden under the sun.

THE CONNIVING MOTHER IN LAW

The mother-in-law arrives home from the mall to find her son-in-law boiling angrily  and hurriedly packing his suitcase. "What happened ?" she asks anxiously. "What happened! I'll tell you what happened. I sent an email to my wife telling her I was coming home today from my business trip. I got home, and guess what I found ? Yes, your daughter, my wife , with a guy in our marital bed! This is unforgivable, the end of our marriage. I'm done. I'm leaving forever !" "Calm down, calm down!" says his mother-in-law. "There is something very odd going on here. My daughter would never do such a thing! There must be a simple explanation. I'll go speak to her immediately and find out what happened." Moments later, the mother-in-law comes back with a big smile. "I told you there must be a simple explanation .....she didn't receive your E-mail !"

NIGERIAN INTERNET SCAMMER RECEIVES A SHOCK OF HIS LIFE

WHY THIS STRANGE OBSESSION WITH LAKE CHAD

Certain stories had it that in the 80s Buhari as an army officer was busy running after Nigeria;s enemies at Lake Chad region when  a military coup was organized, after which he was asked to lead the Junta. Lake chad has so far diminished to ghost of itself and Buhari cannot believe that his beloved war theatre may completely dry up. This week he had the opportunity to beg wealthy nations for money and he started asking for donation of $14 Billion to help restore Lake Chad to its former glory. This is someone whose country is going through recession and 4 million internally displaced citizens are facing the worst famine in their life time. How exactly does he intend to restore Lake chad with that amount of money? Is it by drilling boreholes to supply water or by channelling water from a distant place to lake chad. Sometimes when you ask for a favour, it is good to give something in return. The Western countries helping Nigeria are willing to save lives and not to sponsor your fantasies. After budgeting 40 Billion Naira for crude oil exploration in Lake Chad you are now trying to channel $14 Billion to the same failed project. There is urgent need for irrigation in many parts of Nigeria and the water is simply not there. Government should help farmers to irrigate their farms through boreholes and windmills or solar pumps as obtainable in other nations. This obsession with lake child that is already outside Nigeria is definitely a pipe dream. No western donor will donate money for wastage and ostentatious life styles among Nigerian leaders. We are now like that foolish Uncle or cousin you asked what business he will like to do and he chose to sell alcohol and fried chicken. You ask him how much it will cost to start the business and he replies that two million Naira can be managed.

ANTI CORRUPTION GOVERNMENT COLLECTED 500 MILLION NAIRA BRIBE

While the president of Nigeria Mohammed Buhari is abroad telling the world that he is fighting corruption, his own chief of Staff Abba Kyari has been exposed as a very corrupt man through the revelation that he collected 500 million Naira bribe from MTN to help reduce their controversial fine of 1.04 Trillion Naira. The whole corruption fight is flawed because Nigerians cannot trust president with appointment, Senate president cannot be trusted with asset declaration, Vice president cannot be trusted with honesty in blame game, the speaker of the house cannot be trusted with budget figures, The chief of staff, the head of army, some ministers are all indicted for one thing or the other in fact the corruption fight is now a mirage. When Buhari is reminded that his body language helped to chase foreign investors away he will ask you how? By the time you fine MTN 1.04 Trillion and the whole budget is 6 trillion, what signal are you sending to other investors trying to come to Nigeria? You wonder if it is the duty of the government to dish out wicked fines out of jealousy or should he build an unbiased institution to get these things done according to best practices all over the world. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. Many Nigerians are waiting for a leader that will fight corruption with sincerity. Justice should not be a respecter of personalities, tribe or religion.

DIVORCE WHEN YOU NEED MARRIAGE MOST

When the most celebrated couple in hollywood announced their divorce plan. the internet went rife with speculations. Many said the man must have cheated but the couple have not said that cheating is the main problem. Some said the man cheated at work where he was shooting a movie. The woman said that the man became addicted to alcohol became angry and violent and had to be divorced. This is not the first time an accomplished woman is showing the man the door at a point in her life when she needs the assistance of a man most. In this case, Angelina Jolie has 3 children with Brad Pitt and three other adopted children but now prefer to be a single mother with sole custody of these children. Many women misunderstand men. Many men misunderstand women too. The usual story is that a woman gradually lose interest in sexual activities, begin to focus more on raising children and career, Her body and emotion also play trick on her as menopause approaches in some cases. At this point the man does not understand what you are going through and is inadvertently  getting sexually frustrated. However because the woman is too busy or absent minded, the man keeps the tension bottled up. At that situation, any other female that attempts to seduce him will succeed. A good man may not make the first move but he will make the second and the third move. Once he has cheated he will feel rejuvenated and the wife will notice and begin to either feel jealous or worried or angry. From there the relationship will tumble downhill.  Therefore the cheating is always a symptom and not the disease. The main problem is usually vague but people should show more charity. If people communicate more, care more and sacrifice more, they may always have their marriage when they need it most.  The number of children is also a factor. 6 children is not as easy as two children. You can do it alright but will you come out of it the same? This idea that divorce is a solution is false. The person that has been with you for so long will always be part of you. A man may feel the pain less once another woman has taken over but a woman will always remember such details

YOU CAN STILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

*"THE POWER OF YOUR MIND".* ............................COPIED
One morning, all the employees in a factory got to work and saw a notice written on the notice board:
"Yesterday, the person who had been hindering your promotion in this company passed away. You are invited to join in the funeral."
Who could it be? They were sad for the death of one of their colleagues.
Afterwards, one-by-one they gathered at the grave side, mainly, to know who exactly the man was.
'Well, at least the man who had been delaying my progress is dead now and I will be able to progress'. These and many more were their thoughts.
One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin but when they looked inside it they were speechless. They stood, shocked, in silence for what they saw. There was a mirror inside the coffin and everyone who looked inside could only see him/herself reflected in the mirror.
There was a sign next to the mirror that read:
"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your progress...It is YOU - your SELF.
You are the only force who could influence your happiness, success and realizations"
Your life does not change when your boss, friend or company changes.....your life changes when YOU change... You go beyond your limiting beliefs as you realize that YOU are the major determining factor of your life. It's the way YOU face life that makes the difference!
When an egg is broken from the outside...life ends. But if an egg is broken from the inside, life begins. Great things always begin from inside of us and never from the outside.
Get to work now. Begin to change your life from the inside today.

NIGERIAN PRIVATE SECTORS FEEL LEFT OUT IN ANTI RECESSION PLAN

Nigerian finance minister Kemi Adeosun looked embattled and stressed as she took bullets for APC in defence of ongoing recession in Nigeria. She respectfully accused Nigerians of complaining all the time without offering any useful solution towards resolving the problem. She agreed with manufacturers and private sector that the interest rate is too high at a period period like this and reiterated that the CBN is independent of the Ministry of finance. She stated all her plans to spend on railways and roads in order to spend the country out of recession. Those are noble plans but private sectors are not hearing any thing that will benefit them. example, Innoson that is scaling down production wants forex or lower tax, airlines closing up want reduced charges ease of repatriating money and local servicing facilities, many industries in Lagos and Aba are asking for steady power supply and lower taxes. Teachers want their salaries paid and so on. They are not able to grasp how building a road and rail line alone will alleviate their suffering. We know that there is this all mighty fight against corruption but recession is a time to throw money around to save jobs and decrease suffering

SHIA MUSLIMS GIVE ARMY 14 DAYS TO RELEASE EL ZARZAKY OR

I can virtually hear many Nigerians saying " Or what?". We have been damaged. Ordinary Nigerian have become his own worst enemy.  We can no longer unite to fight for a course or to demand justice from government. Everybody want to know who said what instead of what was said. These group of Shia Muslims lost over 300 members and their leader was arrested without charges. Now they have started low key demonstration in Kaduna asking for unconditional release of their leader but just like a typical fragmented country that we are, no Christian will identify with their course, no Sunni faction of Muslim will identify with them and those who are against them maybe heard saying that it serves them right and that they they deserved death. How can they block a road where Brutai wants to pass. My own is that I hate people giving ultimatum because they give those ultimatum out of frustration and frustration has levels. For instance When IPOB gave 14 days ultimatum for Nnamdi Kanu to be released, we know they are peace loving people and we give them level I. When Patience Jonathan give 14 days Ultimatum for her account to be Un frozen, we know she is a woman and she calls her God so we give her level II. Now Shia Muslims are giving Ultimatum for their leader to be released in 14 days. I want to give them level III because I don.t know them.

BORNO STATE IS SAFER THAN LAGOS AND ABUJA .......GOVERNOR SHETTIMA

In a bid to  attract local investors and make residents happy, Governor of  Borno state where Boko haram has a headquarters has boasted that Maidugri the state capital is now safer than Abuja and Lagos. In order to prove the assertion, he climbed out of his bullet proof car and celebrated Sallah in the open and no bomb blast was recorded. I personally cannot be deceived by this man. We all know that ISIS backed faction of Boko Haram is promising to target only Christians and most of the Churches in that state have been leveled down anyway. If Kashim wants to prove that his state is now safer than Lagos and Abuja, he has to take a tractor and irrigation facility to Sambisa forest and start farming and rearing cattle. If he comes back alive with all his staff then I will listen to him but still I will not visit Borno state till 2020

OBASEKI OF APC PROMISES 100 MILLIONAIRES IN FOUR YEARS

In this perilous time, the ruling party APC has again gone to market with promises that they may not keep and later they will expect the electorates to forget. Among other things, Obaseki Godwin has promised to produce many millionaires in Edo state. Considering that one million Naira is now less than $3000, it will not be a difficult task to achieve however it may not be achieved the way you suppose. In fact Oshiomhole also produced many Millionaires recently by owing salaries of people that earned a little over 100 000,Naira for 10 months  and above. At the end of the 10th month he paid all the salaries and and thereby producing Millionaires. I must encourage Obaseki to promise tangible things like low tax, industrial estate, new refinery and other things needed by his people. producing millionaires is not  clear cut priority.

HYPOCRITICAL CORRUPTION FIGHT IN NIGERIAN HOUSE OF REP.

When Jesus Christ asked his followers to always take out the log of rotten wood in their own eye before trying to blow off the specks of dirt in another man's eye, He probably had Nigerian politicians in mind. These breed of human beings will stash Billions of dollars in foreign account and turn around to deceive ordinary Nigerians claiming to be champions of anti corruption fight. There is hardly any newspaper you pick up in Nigeria for the past 3 months that did  not show honourable Jibrin Abdulmumin making  detailed allegation of how budget padding was done and how much was diverted to a personal farm and how the speaker drilled a bore hole in his farm with government money. Meanwhile it has been discovered that Jibrin has over 1.5 million pound sterling in foreign account. Corruption has become endemic but those who kept their money in Nigeria have faith in Nigeria and those who keep their own loot abroad are at a different level. After claiming to have collected over 800 Million in  illegal money in House of Rep,  Jibrin said nothing until he was relieved of his duty as a committee chairman. We Nigerians appreciate what you are saying but we prefer to hear it from another person and we expect you to just shut up and resign because you are not an anti corruption fighter. You are in Abacha category, millionaire without portfolio just like many of you.

GLARING CONFLICT OF INTEREST AS BUHARI ELEVATES SON IN LAW

Any person in doubt that Nigeria's president is an uncut manager should once more have a look at his latest appointment that is making Nigerians to question if they are second class citizens or visitors in their own country. It is pathetic that instead of building human capacity and rewarding merit, the president of Nigeria is busy tearing down the progress of the nation and rewarding family members as if  presidency was was a personal trophy or spoils of a battle field. Those working in Maritime sector have said that Buhari picked his son in law from no where and without the right qualification and elevated him over people more qualified and made him a director. That is very sad and those Nigerians living abroad and expecting equal treatment with citizens of those countries can see that it is not even possible in their own country. Buhari has done the same thing in army, police Custom and the list goes on. Some people have said that Nigeria is more divided now than during civil war. The worst aspect of it is that this same Buhari was talking to Nigerians last week to change. If you are a symbol of corruption and nepotism why bother to ask innocent Nigerians to change.

REFLECTIONS OF BEN CARSON

Dr. Ben Carson (Retired world renowned neurosurgeon, and Republican Presidential Aspirant) wrote this beautiful piece.
Read and be blessed.
Sometimes you are unsatisfied with your life, while many people in this world are dreaming of living your life.
A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dreams of flying. But, a pilot on the plane sees the farmhouse and dreams of returning home. That's life!! Enjoy yours.
If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the streets. But only poor kids do that.
If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly.
If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages. But those who live simply, walk humbly and love genuinely!
All good will come back to you!!!
Man asks, “Where was God when Myles Munroe, wife and his associates were killed in a crash? He answers, "The same place I
sat when John the Baptist my servant was beheaded. When Stephen my servant was stoned to death. When Paul my servant was murdered in Rome. The same place I sat when my only Son was brutally crucified, wounded, bruised and killed. I
have not moved from my position."
I am the same. It is not the means of exit from earth that matters but the
destination. Live simply. It's all about God!!
I love this one: If someone asks about your educational background, proclaim boldly that: Church is my college. Heaven is my university. Father God is my counselor. Jesus is my principal. Holy Spirit is my teacher. Angels are my classmates. Bible is my textbook. Temptations are my exams. Overcoming Satan is my hobby. Winning souls for God is my assignment. Receiving eternity is my degree. Praise and Worship are my slogan.

SPEAKER SPEAKS AGAINST ANY REFORM IN NIGERIA

Long before the ongoing recession, many Nigerian have called for fiscal federation in Nigeria for effective harnessing of the resources at the state or regional level. After listening to several arguments for reform, Speaker Dogara stood up in his usual convincing manner told them that he was speaking with out fear or favour and that if Nigeria is divided, there is no way one part of Nigeria will be greater than the whole Nigeria. He told them that at this moment certain countries are giving up their sovereignty to participate in regional blocks and we are discussing how to divide Nigeria. At the end of his misguided speech lo and behold, many people started clapping, thinking that he has said anything smart. First of all, being great or large as a nation is not an achievement in itself. In fact it is a hinderance because that nation may not even know that their individual citizens exist. It is just like being a member of a very large Church where nobody remembers you. Secondly reform or restructure is not about dividing of the country. It is about stimulating regional productivity. reducing excessive power at the centre as well as regional laws according to need. Unfortunately, politicians cannot be expected to be sincere because If  Dogara is being accused of sharing 10 Billion for his office now, he is quite certain that if there is regional parliament he can never see a quarter of that amount to be spent on cars and food. The more Nigerians wait for greedy politicians to make a move the more the move towards a reform becomes a mirage. Some people have said that Buhari government has not marshalled out a plan of how to bring Nigeria out of recession but if you ask Buhari he will tell you that he is releasing 700 Billion for road construction. That is not a comprehensive plan but the finance minister believes it is enough. God help Nigeria.

NIGERIA'S ENDOWED ACTRESS NAMES HER CAT BUHARI

The Nollywood's most voluptuous actress Miss Cossy Orjiakor has named her two clueless looking looking cats Buhari and Jonathan. This issue of naming animals will clearly bring to fore the menace of bias against common man in Nigeria . We all know that the previous business man who named his dog Buhari still has a case to answer in court and was recently begging the Nigerian police to throw away the charges. However because this beautiful lady is an actress and likely has enough money to afford a good lawyer, the Nigerian police is not likely to ask her any question no matter what she names Buhari. Buhari himself who is claiming to fight corruption have a list of Nigerians that he dare not investigate. That is the bane of Nigeria because some Nigerians are regarded as second class citizens in their own country.

MANY POLITICIANS ARE TRULY DEPLORABLE

While trying to convince American electorates that they have just been insulted, Donald Trump adopted a calm tone of voice and told them that Hillary Clinton has called hard working Americans and Military officers as well as other wonderful Americans deplorable. He thought is was a shame and reiterated that Hillary was not worthy of their votes. In the same week, Donald Trump has put more meaning to the word deplorable. When you have children growing up, deplorable is the word you use to explain to them what they must never do to avoid breaking your heart. Donald Trump was asked why he is emphasizing that Bill Clinton had an affair while he had one of the most sensational adultery drama in America. Trump replied "I was not a president" Well you want to become one. When Trump admitted that Obama was burn in America just because he is black, That is racist and deplorable. When Trump accepted the endorsement of Klu Klux Klan Leader that may be assessed as deplorable, When you want every Muslim to be denied visa for an undetermined period of time that may even last for years that is deplorable, When you enter office and deport 11 Million American aliens who are in America to work and eat, not to participate in any election or to get any professional employment or even get any mortgage because the system is already punishing them for being illegal, that is deplorable. It is therefore true that at least one of Trump presidency supporter fits into the basket of deplorable.Young people should be advised never to adopt any of his stance or inclinations.

BUHARI SHOULD COPY MORE FROM OBAMA

During the launch of "Change begins with me " campaign Nigerians noticed that President Buhari suddenly became articulate and a bit passionate. When they listened closely they saw that Buhari was just acting Obama. He lifted two paragraphs from Obama's 2008 speech verbatim and practiced it for hours before making the speech..Well, Mrs M. Trump did the same thing and received some backlash but in the case of Nigeria, Buhari is being encouraged to copy more from Obama. Obama took power at the depth of recession and Buhari took power at the height of economic boom. The important thing is that both of them faced recession.. While Obama as a black man selected the best heads in America to work with him, even made his political rival a secretary of state Buhari in his own case explained to Nigerians that his selection was based on loyalty. He explained "that these men have been with me through thick and thin" While Obama spent American money to save jobs and create more jobs, Buhari took pleasure in sacking people from Jobs. After sacking 13 Vice Chancellors appointed by Jonathan he told Nigerians that he regretted sacking those Vice Chancellors. Obama gave bail out to different companies to help them survive, but Buhari drew up a list of  goods and promised not to give anyone dollars unless they explain what they want to do with the money. Nigerian students abroad were stopped from using their bank cards and dollar became a prestigious commodity. The list goes on and on. The manufacturers, transporters shipping lines are all in difficulty today because Buhari is not using the enormous power at his disposal to solve problems. In fact if agents see you with legitimate money earned from government contract, they label you a criminal, arrest you and start looking for evidence instead of evidence then arrest. Buhari should copy more from Obama. Happy citizens make a happy economy. Finally Obama has one big jet and a small regular umbrella but Buhari is using 11 jets and one big umbrella that must be carried after him like a traditional ruler.

WILL PUTIN TAMPER WITH AMERICAN ELECTIONS?

American security experts are no longer comfortable with the activities of Russian computer hackers. They have reminded themselves that  Putin was a former KGB spy and a leopard cannot change his spots. America has recognized that there is full scale hacking program aimed at different parts of American computer systems and this may even extend to the election whereby the hackers can alter election results to favor their choice candidate. While regretting the foolishness of Snowden who defected and revealed sensitive information they have promised to play catch up game with Russia and probable beat them in their own game. I believe the only factor that can humble Putin is decline in crude oil price to as low as $10 per barrel. America should work hard to achieve that so that common people  will be spending less than $20 a month on fuel. Those hackers will have no choice than to take their trade abroad, (some to America )in order to continue taking care of their families. Since Russia is earning excess wealth from crude oil they can only suffer if there is decline in sales

EFCC USING CORRUPTION TO FIGHT CORRUPTION

Day by day Nigerians are given reason to question the professionalism and genuineness of the EFCC i.e Economic and financial crime commission. The former first lady of Nigeria has accused EFCC of gathering four men to impersonate four registered companies  and extracting  guilty pleas from them in a bid to seize her "hard earned money". The problem with many Nigerians is that we are no longer objective in our private thoughts. We have become blind people following a voice blindly. When we hear something we ask who said it rather than what was said. Every company representative can easily be verified and the directors of a company should be able to decide who should  represent a company in court. In this case EFCC has taken the case personal, refused to verify the authenticity of the men , induced them to plead guilty to money laundering charges and pleaded for speedy trial to conclude the matter. By all means fight financial crime but do not use corruption to fight corruption. In fact EFCC has not cleared its name of several accusations of contempt of court orders and abuse of rights. Money is a sensitive issue and should be respected. The abuse and maltreatment of locals in possession of money will discourage the outsiders who want to bring money and invest. No wonder every investor is withdrawing from Nigeria and locals who have money are hiding them in pit latrines. Those countries like Panama and Cayman that accept money of various types into their banks for safe keep are doing it for a reason. Every country or economy that fails to respect money will see money disappear from her shores.

$15 MILLION DONATION FOR PATIENCE JONATHAN MAYBE LEGAL

In the Catholic Church there is a classification of sins into mortal sins and minor sins, forgivable sins and unforgivable sins. In the past few weeks it has been found that an account in a Nigerian commercial bank contain over $15 Million and when EFCC went ahead to restrict the account, the owner readily cried out. Patience Jonathan the immediate past first lady of Nigeria claimed ownership. She has explained that the money was donated to her by friends who were contributing to pay her healthcare bills. Since she was not a political office holder and the office of the first lady never got such an amount of money as allocation, it becomes difficult to properly analyse the whole situation. Many politicians in Nigeria and in deed many leaders in academics and healthcare regularly engage in acts that may not be illegal but they are not ethical. The issue of conflict of interest is no longer regarded as a factor in decision making, therefore a politician can ask contractors or appointees to come and donate for one project or the other. Looking back wards, Aisha Buhari has already lunched two books after which Kogi indegenes accused Governor Bello of donating over 70 million Naira for a beauty manual. Towards the end of Obasanjo's tenure also he stood up and raised enough money to build a huge Library and a University. While preparing for 2015 presidential election, PDP and Jonathan raised so much money that they could not announce it for fear of backlash. There was a backlash still because they were voted out. The Panama papers also revealed that Mrs Saraki is also a Millionaire from such donations. The conclusion is that the standard has been lowered in Nigeria. Conflict of interest is no longer an issue. There is need to walk back the moral decadence in Nigeria but I don't think Buhari can do much. Perhaps if he agrees to exchange position with the Pastor of Redeem Prof Osibanjo and becomes the vice president, Nigeria may start taking these issues serious.

HILLARY CLINTON CANNOT STAND FOR ONE HOUR.?........TRUMP

United States presidential candidate Donald Trump has focused on the stamina of his opponent after hearing about the illness and near fall of Hillary Clinton during 9/11 memorial. Trump told his rowdy audience that he is not sure if Hillary Clinton can stand up for an hour. Many replied "NO" it is impossible and they all laughed at such an ambition to become a president when you cannot stand up for an hour. Many were entertained and it looked as if Clinton had lost the election. An author who wrote a book about Trump once said that Trump has a very short attention span and enjoys and loves to say "You are fired" and thereby relieve people of their means of livelihood . Now those are things to worry about. Even if  Hillary becomes wheelchair bound, it will not be the first time a president of United States of America  will operate from a wheel chair.

BOKO HARAM PROMISES TO CAPTURE NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT ALIVE

The embattled leader of Boko haram has gathered a large number of his followers in a controversial video to taunt Nigerian government and promise more violence. In an attempt to intimidate the whole nation and appear as a tough leader before his followers, He promised his members that he will capture the president of Nigeria alive. Anyway Nigerian army have seen very clearly that the war against Boko Haram is yet to be technically won. These people should not be under rated.

NIGERIAN STATES AND L.G.A SHOULD GET MORE SHARE..........TAMBUWAL

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the current Sokoto state governor has inadvertently joined the list of those clamoring for restructure of Nigeria. This he did by making a comment that states and local governments should get a higher percentage of the money that accrues as federation account. Presently the federal government gets over 57% of the income and when the leader in the person of the president is not on the right side of history ( to borrow Obama's language) the rest of the nation suffers the consequences. The question to ask is How can you all of a sudden begin to give more money to different states and local governments even  if they generate nothing. Are you going to rub Peter to pay paul? Ultimately, asking for a new sharing formula is the same thing as asking for a restructure which is an excellent move considering that all developed countries are practicing fiscal federation..

NIGERIAN PLANE CRASHES WERE BLOOD SACRIFICES ..........FFK

Former Minister for Aviation Femi Fani Kayode has brought conspiracy theory closer home by his claim that certain plane crashes that took place in Nigeria were orchestrated by Nigerian leaders and that the people who lost their lives were blood sacrifices by cult members. He stated that when he discovered the truth he attempted to get help from international community and was shocked to find out that they were also part of the plan. The curious aspect of the story was that once he confronted Nigerian leaders, they immediately turned him into an enemy and alienated him. The you tube and internet is full of such theories and observations. If you start propounding such theories and people start avoiding you  it is to be expected. Some of those people are convinced that you need help. Whether you need help or not is a story for another day.

RUSSIA MAY ALSO HAVE YOUR DATA

World anti doping agency WADA has raised an alarm that Russian computer hackers have gotten access to the sensitive medical records of Olympic athletes. We all know that WADA found out only because the hackers wanted them to know. It can therefore be deduced that these hackers can hack your private files and clean up the traces such that you may never  find out. In fact they can insert Virus into your computer to be collecting information on regular basis. Now that is scary. We all know that US government agency  NSA are able to listen to conversation between terrorists and determine who is a real security threat. They can read your email and even modify it before the recipient receives it. It is therefore expected that these Russian probably have more information about a large number of people and they reveal only what they want you to know. Obviously no part of internet is safe anymore. If the Russians think they can stop testing of athletes by hacking and exposing information, they may be making a mistake, testing of athletes continues.

WHO IS STEALING FROM NIGERIA?

WHY YOU SHOULD TRAIN YOUR COUSINS IN SCHOOL

Researchers in Nigeria have identified a curious pattern that makes it pertinent and beneficial if we all contribute our own widow's might to get all our cousins and family members educated. It was pointed out that at present, about 12 percent of the populace in South Western Nigeria are not educated. Those who are educated will go ahead and marry educated women and make small families of two or three kids who will in turn get good education. Those 12 % that are not well educated will go ahead and marry one or two wives and  incidentally this group of people make numerous babies in upward of 6 children or even 10 children . These children will very likely be uneducated just like their own parents. At the end of the day the educated grand children of those that are presently educated will be outnumbered by poorly educated family member and so they will not be able to speak freely. Any move they make will be misunderstood for insult. They may never have cohesive extended family as the present generation. Therefore we should all try to educate one cousin or two especially in Nigeria where people cannot get student loans.
