EDO STATE PDP VS.APC THE TRUTH AND THE INTRIGUES

Edo state indigenes are getting closer to the real reason the gubernatorial election in that state was postponed. In an open interview that involved the campaign organizers of the two main parties, the individuals involved used strong terms to describe the opponent's party. The APC representative claimed that PDP mobilized overwhelming number of "thugs" and lodged them in strategic hotels in each local government in Edo state. He said that they did not stop there, they went underground and convinced all the traditional rulers that Obaseki has appropriated certain huge amount of money to himself and Oshiomhole and he is also unqualified. He said that The Traditional rulers believed the members of PDP and that if that election was held it could have been a disaster. The spokesperson for PDP in turn accused APC of running helter skelter to prevent a certain capitulation coming to the party in Edo state. He learnt credence to what APC man said by saying that APC needed time to do damage control. He said that APC initially tried to use WAEC students to stop the election. The governor for the first time came out and encouraged the candidates but INEC refused to postpone the election. APC tried office of the NSA but made no headway. The next thing they did was to use DSS and police to intimidate INEC. INEC laughed and insisted that they will go ahead with election irrespective of any security threat. At that point APC wielded the federal might and threatened INEC that no security will be provided for the election if they continued to hold it on the planned date. At that point INEC decided to play safe. In his closing remark, the PDP spokesperson reminded Edo people that APC has no credible candidate in the index election. He presented several affidavits and tried to prove that Mr Obaseki also failed major subjects in secondary school. He claimed that once you see people peddling affidavit instead of certificate you know you must take what they are saying with a pinch of salt.  Nigeria is indeed a third world country and some people are pushing them towards 4th world status. OMG!
