THE EMIR OF KANO MUST BE WRONG

One major problem in Nigeria is that when something is said, nobody is interested in the veracity of what is being said instead they are asking who said what. It is not wrong to ask who said what but what is said shoulds also be analysed. The Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is not new to Nigerian economy and government and he has attempted to place the buck in front of Buhari's office and has blamed the ruling party for causing the economic crisis. Well when you remember that he once said that $49 Billion was missing you are persuaded to get some salt shaker to use on what he said lately. He said that fall in oil price is not responsible for the economic crisis in Nigeria since oil contributes only 15% to Nigeria's GDP. He said that Nigerian economy was growing at 37% prior to May 2015 on account of trade and agriculture. He added that the Niger delta and SE  is actually contributing very little to Nigeria's well being and progress. Among other things he has fortified his controversial status. This same Emir once wrote that Yorubas are the main problem of Nigeria. At another talking session he said he was going to invest $5 billion alongside Dangote in an electricity generating plant. This Billions of dollars are money from oil wells in Niger delta. His family are among those controlling oil wells no doubt. Therefore for someone who is benefiting so much from oil wells to attempt to belittle the contribution of oil portrays nothing but psychological warfare. It means there is panic and truths may not be palatable to anyone. That is why the emir must be wrong because the presidency is already doing well in marketing to Nigerians that the fall in oil price is responsible for the recession.
