The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan in a press statement has announced that any illegal immigrant that resided in Grenfell Tower in London should not worry about being arrested because the government has decided to forgive them of their crimes and has made arrangement for taking care of any person affected by the ill fated fire irrespective of their status in the country.
The Muslim mayor argued that undocumented immigrants who once lived in the tower may be discouraged from reaching out for help and he believes it should not be so in UK. There is growing fear that the Tower fire may have consumed the lives of more people than officially documented. The city of London has identified why the tower burned the way it did but the question remains, who will finance the necessary changes in other houses built with similar material. It has been calculated in a high rise building in Melbourne Australia that replacing the inflammable material in a 27 --40 storey building may cost up to $16 Million or 8 Million Pounds Sterling
