A day after allegedly surviving another assassination attempt on his person, award winning Senator Dino Melaye has called for state of emergency in Kogi state. Dino claims to have photographic and video evidence that his state government officials are hobnobbing with criminals
In summary
1. Dino went to his constituents to address their grievances and pay hospital bills for workers impoverished by salary blockade in that state for 15 months
2. He went with a bullet proof Jeep that finally saved his life
3. A gang led by ex criminal and a known murderer released recently from federal prison attacked him
4. The gang was overpowered by Dino's , security team and the leader was killed but not before Dino,s Jeep and other vehicles were sprayed with bullets
5, State governor released a statement that a student was killed by members of Dino's security team
Dino therefore addressed the senate, expressing faith in Jesus Christ to protect his life and asking the president to declare state of emergency in Kogi state. At the end of Dino's address, the senate president assured him " You shall not die" that was because he repeated his signature " If you talk you die.................:"In deed we are waiting to hear from the mouth of the Kogi government since Dino has levelled grave accusations against the governor.
