After securing less than 50 votes in APC primary election in Ondo state, one of the Aspirants Mr Ekungba has used strong words like bastards and betrayer to describe some of the rogue delegates who collected his personal savings and promised him that he will be the next governor only to turn back and vote for another person. This is not the first time a gentleman is entering the political arena in Nigeria with both personal savings, good economic plan and goodwill to change things, only to be impoverished and disappointed. The reality is that .if you look too clean they don't want you because you may change the culture of sharing and looting. The annoying aspect of it is that while collecting your money, most of them will praise you, encourage you to bring out more money and some will immediately start addressing you as "governor in waiting" Of course they do not listen to your economic plans rather they listen to your body language. Elections in Nigeria is nothing but a gambling.
