A UNICEF nutrition specialist has sternly warned Nigeria that the prevailing malnutrition in the country especially in children will lead to adults and leaders with very low mental capacity and therefore poor performance in all aspects of life. What she fails to point out is that Nigeria is already suffering from what she is trying to predict. We already have petty thieves in National assembly and house of representative.We had presidential candidate who failed high school maths and could not understand the meaning of subsidy until he became president. We have people who fight in public and use foul language all the time. We had leaders who had affairs with their daughters in law. We have had leaders who married children as young as 13 years. We have had leaders that forged certificate and tried to avoid debate and those that went to spiritualists to try and hypnotize entire populace. In deed we already have leaders with low mental capacity. The future is here for the malnutrition. We must stop everything we are doing, plan to produce the number of children we can train properly and make sure they are getting all the care love and nutrition they need. Nobody can move forward in reverse gear. Therefore we must make sure that people who have mental capacity problem should never taste the seats of power.
