14 AIRLINES, 20 SHIPPING LINES CLOSE SHOP IN NIGERIA

20 shipping lines left Nigerian waters for lack of business rendering thousands of workers jobless. 14 airlines have moved their operation base from Nigeria to Ghana citing hostile government policies. A major senator has pointed out that this is an opportunity for locals to move into the space left but with what resources? Former CBN governor prof Soludo has stated that the recession in Nigeria is a policy induced recession. Vice President of Nigeria is running helter skelter trying to fix the economy. Nigerians living abroad have taken over the duty of feeding several families in Nigeria but the policy somersault did not spare those sending money from abroad since government have gone ahead to ban the company that transfers money free of charge into Nigeria and has promoted those that charge most and give least rate in exchange. Many policy makers are still fixated on oil . Some are happy that militants are now coming out of the creek not minding that Venezuella a mega oil producer has no creek or militant, but still suffer from food scarcity. It is time for Nigeria to know what is important in life. No farmer should lose crops to cattle invasion, No industry should find it hard to get dollars or to change Naira to dollars, No worker should be owed salaries, no position should be occupied by a novice or a retired person, the list goes on and on. In fact the country Nigeria is truly upside down as some people have described it.
