2000 LASHES FOR BEING AN ATHEIST

It really sounds odd for someone to open his God given mouth and say that he does not believe in God but life is a journey. St. Augustine, at a point in his life did not believe in God but God himself made him change his mind. It is therefore very strange that Saudi Arabia as a country should arrest someone who tweeted that he is an atheist, sentence him to 10 years imprisonment, 2000 lashes of a whip and 4000 pounds. That person is not only ruined but useless and damaged. Many developed countries are budgeting money and crafting programs on how to prevent suicide but this kind of treatment is encouraging you to die because you have not arrived the stage of believing in God  I think the best way to treat people that don't believe in God is to give them comfortable seat, ask them what they want to eat and the kind of cigarette they want. Thereafter you give them a religious book and explain why you believe in God yourself, and monitor their progress from that point.
