It was Socrates that said " young man speak that I may see you" from people's utterances you can see their mind set. Attahiru Jega has likened Nigeria's unity to marriage in Catholic Church and emphasized till death do us part rather than for better for worse. In the recent days in Nigeria unity is beginning to take more center stage rather than progress. If Jega is speaking for any particular part of Nigeria, it is clear that he is arguing from position of weakness and representing that part of Nigeria as a parasite. It is only a parasite that will cling to his host and be shouting till death do us part. No part of Nigeria will necessarily become bankrupt if Nigeria is divided or restructured. All zones in Nigeria are blessed with arable lands, human resources, minerals. This is just like in some marriages even in Catholic where one person is digging and another taking glory or even covering the trench. Any part of Nigeria that produce more should take more glory. Many in Nigeria prefer power and death to progress and good life..
