The Nigerian Labour congress has decided to take the bull by the horn by taking an attacking position against the various executives who love to shout "no work no pay". How can you owe someone 7 months salary and be telling him "No work No pay". Even one of their own former leader present governor of Edo state was heard shouting No work no pay when he was owing several months salary. In sane societies where workers are given mortgages to buy houses, once you miss your mortgage for 3 months you will be thrown out of your house by the banks. Nigeria Labour congress has therefore decided that If you are not paid your salary for 3 months, you can as well take the liberty to raise money from another source for feeding and bills that cannot wait. Of course few of them are already practicing 'no pay no pay' but a law is needed to cover all of them for such a counter joke. Whether you are president or legislature, at one point in your life either present past or future you were once a labour congress member.
